1st Narrator - Ancient people recognized the RAINBOW as a sign of peace and of
harmony. They recognized it as a sign given by the Creator that he wants all living
things to live and to flourish in peace and harmony; all clans, all tribes, all colours, all
faiths, all nations. That between us there should be no division but mutual respect and
appreciation of one another's gifts as well as of our differences.

2nd Narrator - How Meaningful , In this way we enrich one another by reflecting to one
another the beauty and magnificence of the Creator.... "When the rainbow appears in
the clouds I will remember the everlasting promise between me and all living beings on
Earth."

3rd Narrator - Hello Everyone , while my friends are discussing about the beautiful
Rainbow, I would want to take you all on a journey with us to the SKY . Are you all
ready to take this ride with us!!

4th Narrator - Oh yes - Hi everyone I am Narrator 4(name of the child) and Sky is my
favorite place!! I was told that God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the
day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.

God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the
night, and to separate light from darkness.

All the Stars enter together and stand in line

Star 1 Yes We are the stars

We are the stars -

Star 1& 2:

Twinkle Twinkle Little stars

We are the Friends of Jupiter and Mars
All we do the whole night through

Narrator 1 - Now that our sky is full of Super Stars lets welcome the sun’s counsel

Sun counsel 1 , 2, 3 and 4 enter

Child1 - Father Sun was busy with some other planets

Child 2 - Let us play then

Child 3 - lets invite the stars over aswell

Child 4 - oh yes , it will be fun, we should invite the Rainbow too

Child 1 - lets have a parttty in the Skyyyy

Child 2 - sounds fanastic

Narrator 2 - Sun children and the stars called the Rainbow colors to have a Party

RAINBOW COLOR ENTERS

Star 1 - Lets play some nice game with Rainbow colors

Sun child 1 - yes , which color will come first

Blue and Green color

Red and Indigo start fightining with each other

Color Green - that’s not true

Color Blue - yes it is

Star 2 - Whats the matter with you?

COLOR BLUE: He said he is the most important color, and that is not true… because I
am!

COLOR GREEN: No, you’re not!

Narrator 2 - Party ended and all the colours in the world started to quarrel; each
claimed that they were the best, the most important, the most useful, or the most
favourite.

Song - We are the best

Narrator 4 - This is going to be tough, every color is thinking that it’s the most
important color. What will happen now

Star2 - I have a solution, let us hear about every color and then the Sun and Star
counsel can decide which color is the best

Sun child 4 - yes, lets not fight , if Mother Moon and Father Sun gets to know that we
are fightining in the sky they wont like it

Star 3 - All the colors you can come one by one and tell us why do u think you are most
important

Narrator 3 – And so the colors started sharing about them and Violet was the first one
to speak

Violet - "I am the colour of royalty and power. Kings, chiefs and bishops have chosen
me, for I am the sign of authority and of wisdom. People do not question me. They listen
and obey."

Song - Roar by Katy Perry ( everyone dances on that song)

Violet color to stand in the centre and others with surround

Narrator 2- INDIGO spoke more quietly than the others, but just as determinedly.

Indigo - "Think of me, I am the colour of silence. You hardly notice me but without me
you all become superficial. I represent thought and reflection, twilight and deep waters.
You need me for balance and contrast, for prayer and inner peace."

Narrator 3 - indigo you have put your point very clearly lets see what Green has to say

Green - "Clearly I am the most important. I am the sign of life and hope. I was chosen
for the grass, the trees and the leaves. Without me all the animals would die. Look out
into the countryside and you will see that I am in the majority."

Narrator 4 - Green is so important too, isn’t the counsel confused, let’s hear what blue
has to say

Blue - "You only think about the earth, but consider the sky and the sea. It is the water
that is the basis of life and this is drawn up by the clouds from the blue sea. The sky
gives space, and peace and serenity.

Song - under the water song

Yellow: You are all so serious. I bring laughter, fun and warmth into the world. The sun
is yellow, the moon is yellow and the stars are yellow. Every time you look at a
sunflower the whole world starts to smile. Without me, there would be no fun.

I am Happy Song

Orange: I am the color of health and strength. I may be scarce, but I am precious for I
serve the inner need of human life. I carry all the most important vitamins. Think of
carrots, pumpkins, oranges, mangoes and pawpaws. I don’t hang around all the time
but when I fill the sky at sunrise or sunset my beauty is so striking that no one gives
another thought to any of you.

Red (shouting): I’m the ruler of you all. Blood – Life needs blood. I am the color of
danger and bravery. I am willing to fight for the cause. I bring fire in the blood. Without
me the earth would be as empty as the moon. I am the colour of passion and of love and
Love is what everyone needs!!

Song - Heart Love

Narrator 1: And so the colors went on like this, each convinced that it was the best.
Their quarrelling become louder and louder. Suddenly there was a startling flash of
brilliant white lightening, thunder rolled and boomed.

Narrator 2 - Rain started to pour down relentlessly. The colors all crouched down in
fear, drawing close to one another for comfort.…..

Sun Father - Whats all this noise

Whats the commotion about ??

Moon Mother - Yes, whats happening

Sun child 1 - We wanted to play but the Rainbow colors started fightining on which
color is the most important

Sun child 2 - Yes, so we decided , we will hear about all of them and decide.

Sun child 3 - but we got really very confused, as every color had so much to say

Sun child 4 - Yes, Father and Mother now you only help us solve this

Moon Mother - The rainbow is a beautiful natural phenomenon; knowing the

significance of each of the colors of the rainbow makes it even more beautiful. While
Nature or God has created this glorious natural phenomenon
Colors play an important role in our lives. Different colors symbolize different
personalities, and also affect our moods differently. The seven colors of rainbow are
also linked to seven chakra colors, seven day of the week, the colors of the Auras and
so on. People use crystals, gems and other items in seven colors of the rainbow for
attaining spirituality, good health, and wisdom.

Father Sun - You foolish colours, fighting amongst yourselves, each trying to dominate
the other. Did you not know that the Creator made you all, each for a special purpose,
unique and different. The Creator loves you all, he wants you all. Join hands with one
another and come with me.

( all the colors join the Father Sun)

He will stretch you across the sky in a great bow of colour as a reminder that He loves
you all, that you can live together in peace, a promise that he is with you, a sign of hope
for all for tomorrow."

So whenever He uses a good RAIN to wash the world He puts the RAINBOW in the
sky, and when we see it we should remember that He wants us all to appreciate, and
live with, each other in peace and not try to fight and dominate everyone.
