Nokia BSC’s Backup Methods:

1. Via SRAS:

a) 1st connect Vodafone VPN

b) Login into BSC & check fallback name with ZWQO:CR; - In status it shows FB
c) Make its zip file: ZIXF:OMU,WDU-S,/FallBackName,:OMU,WDU-S,/, FallBackName:TIME=7200;
d) Wait till login time out.
e) After approx. 1 Hr check zip file with ZIWX::WS,NODEF::%,%,;

Now open Winscp & use below settings:

Settings:

Hostname “10.19.72.30” - SRAS Primary site IP

Port number: 48154

Enter User name as <VF-domainID>@<NodeName> (Node Name: As mentioned in SRAS)

 Example: sandeep@RAJ-BSC-BJPR07-10.84.201.46-SSH

Enter Domain Password

Click on “Login”.

On the Banner prompt Click “OK”

Now on right site it will show BSC directory & on left side Laptop files - login process complete.

Now you can transfer zip file from BSC to laptop - Its time depends on internet speed.

 2. Via Local Login:

a) Five steps are same as above given.

b) After that connect LAN cable from laptop to SWU-0 or SWU-1 on untagged port of OSS VLAN. (Normal as you are
doing & taking backup)
c) Set laptop Ethernet port IP
d) Open Winscp, put OMU IP , user name & password than click on login.

User Name : BKPUSR

Password. : USRBK!234
 3. Via Pen-drive:

a) Login into BSC & check fallback name with ZWQO:CR; - In status it shows FB
b) Connect your pendrive on DCAR free port or u can use existing equipped pendrive and check pedrive status with
ZISI::UMS; , it should be in WO-BU state.
Note: If you are using new pendrive then before connecting format it.
c) Use below commands to check contents & free space of pendrive:

ZIWX::U0,NODEF::%,%:;

ZIPX:OMU:UMS-0:::;

d) If it is full than remove the pendive & delete old backup or format it by copying its files on laptop and re-insert it.
e) Now execute below commands to copy fallback from BSC to pendrive:

ZIPS:,WDU-S,/FB120518,,:,UMS-0,,,:NAME=FB120518,DIR=INC,:DCM=NEW;

f) It will take 15-20 minutes to copy. You can status with below commands :

ZIPI:STAT=OK,:;

ZIPI:TIME=2018-05-16-15,;
g) After FB copy completion on pendrive check its contents with step ‘c’ commands.

Now you can remove pendrive & copy fallback in to laptop. After copy re-insert pendrive in DCAR card & check its status
with ZISI::UMS; , it should be in WO-BU state.
