Fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with
extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate sections supplied by
the owner fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including
necessary filling up the gaps at intersections, i.e. at top, bottom and sides
with required material supplied by the owner. Aluminium sections shall be
jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminnium
beading for glazing /paneling etc. all complete as per architectural drawings
and the directions of Engineer-in-charge, using the materials supplied by the
owner. The contractor shall arrange and bear the cost of scaffolding for
fixing the aluminium works and the same shall be included in the rate.

Comparison Note
1 Mr. Bijeesh has offered to bear 50% of scaffolding expenses. Hence estimate is taken as 50% of 5000 = Rs.2500
Mr. Ashraf will bear the scaffolding rent if it crosses Rs.2000/-. Whereever possible, already fixed window grills will be taken out by Ashraf for fixing the aluminium windows and the
2 grills will be refixed by him at his own cost.He has requested to fix the balance grills only after the erection of aluminium windows.
Conclusion/ Recommendation
Mr. Ashraf has quoted his best rates for the work after negotiation and therefore the rates are final. As his rate is found to be the lowest, the work may
