The
Greetings Readers,
As we count down the days to another Thanksgiving holiday full of great food and
loving family, let’s educate ourselves as well. In this issue, an accurate description of
the Thanksgiving holiday is presented in our news section. The article is entitled, “The
First/Next American Settlers.” This article helps to shape the reality of what this holiday
truly means. We still want to enjoy our holidays but I think it is also important to lose
our dependence on the depiction of Thanksgiving that is popularized but not the truth. PREGNANT?

fidelity and the age of some of the players, are all is-
sues addressed in each episode of the series; but what
separates this show from the rest are the problems that
some of the wives are dealing with that go unnoticed.
Chanita Foster is worried that her husband George is
past his “prime-time” age and worries that he will suf-
fer from early dementia as a result of his career in foot-
ball. Dawn Neufeld and husband Ryan, give people an
inside look on the challenging world of raising a child
with autism, and balancing a traveling career. The
women open up to each other in the series as they cry,
laugh, and vent to each other about the issues many
women who have husbands who are athletes face today.
Just as any other series, the show has drama amongst
the women, which adds to the viewership and some of
the most intense moments of the season. The women
fight about invites to events, “he said she said” gossip,
and of course what makes the wives different from the
girlfriends. Although the series just premiered it is ex-
pected to bring a lot of laughs, tears, and heartache as the
viewer is given an actual look into the life of a football
wife. New episodes air every Sunday on Vh-1 at 9:30 p.m.
