Mid-Term Elections Photo by News.cn

The last day of the midterm elections were held
November 2, 2010 and the results were announced
the following Wednesday morning. The polls showed
that Martin O’Malley will serve his second term as
the governor of Maryland; Andy Harris will serve a
second term as the first congressional district, Bar-
bara Mikulski will serve her fifth six-year term as the
state’s senior U.S. senator, and the voters of Anne
Arundel County approved for their slots casino.
Democratic candidate Martin O’Malley won 55.78%
to Republican Robert Ehrlich’s 42.24% votes for the
governor position according to the Baltimore Business
Journal. Ehrlich did win in most of the rural and outlying
counties and he even ran into a tie when it came to the
votes in Baltimore County with O’Malley. Yet, O’Malley
took a huge lead in the polls when it came to Washing-

Some of the topic discussions were “Pur-
