JUNIOR GENIUS QUIZ – 2019

Junior Genius Quiz – 2019 is a college level quiz competition being held by Odisha Knowledge
Corporation Limited (OKCL) through its Authorized Learning Centers (ALCs). This quiz enables students
to test their knowledge and lay the future pathway for students. The students are able to test their
current knowledge by participating in the quiz and each students receives a certificate of participation
for the quiz competition.

PRE-EXAM
This quiz highlights the Pre-Exam exam preparation by introducing the students to the following two
preparatory motivators:

1. HSC Practice Test

2. Odisha Olympiad Movement (OOM)

HSC Practice Test is an objective type test, which helps a student to practice and prepare for the
forthcoming examinations. HSC Practice Test is fully free of cost that helps a student tremendously in
his/her avid preparation for exams. This free test can be availed at any nearest ALC of OKCL.

A student can further sharpen his/her prowess by appearing for Odisha Olympiad Movement (OOM)
at any nearest ALC of OKCL, with a basic fee of ₹75 only. The student is eligible for attractive prizes on
appearing the Odisha Olympiad Movement (OOM). The district wise winners will receive attractive
prizes for OOM:

POST-EXAM
Once the pre-exam and exam sessions are over, what would you do post-exams? How would you enjoy
the Summer Vacation fruitfully?

OKCL through its ALCs provide a Learn through Fun experience for your Post-Exam phase. You can
learn courses of your interest through Game based simulated environment. What is the need for such
learning?

of digital skills and 85 % of job success requires soft skills.

All the required Digital Skills of 21st Century can be learnt through the OS-CIT course and the required
soft skills can be learnt through KLiC English course.

OS-CIT is a complete IT Literacy course aimed at imparting practical computer proficiency through ERA
– “e Learning Revolution for All”. OS-CIT encourages the learning of 21st Century Skills & 21st century
workplace readiness for youths/citizens of Odisha. Odisha State Open University (OSOU) conducts
the proficiency test and Issues Certificates to the learners, who have successfully completed the
course.

KLiC English helps the students to enhance their communication and soft skills. The course is prepared
to cover Listening, Speaking, Conversing, Reading, Writing in an interactive way using ERA
environment. The course consists of the series - Turning Point and various Story Times to provide
insight into practical usability of English. It consists of Aptitude tests and Interview Practices to help a
student excel in long run of life.

The above courses run in ERA environment, which encourages fun-based learning and uses concepts
of gamification for learning. The simulation-based environment enables to have practical learning
atmosphere, which provides a standardized learning course of international standard. With this, we
