Blood Pressure
The study of the living body is very important. What we do and intake into our bodies

could possibly affect us in weeks, months, or even years to come after. It's important that we pay

attention to our health and keep up to date with it so we can perform life tasks and most

importantly not die sooner than we expect. With the right changes to Diet change, fluid intake,

and physical activity you can change your body and life around to be back in the shape and

health standard that you'd wish to be. Changes to your normal standard of living could be seen as

a hard struggle at first, but with the right information and steps you could change it all around to

be back at a healthy living lifestyle.

Heart rate is “The number of heartbeats per unit of time, usually per minute. The heart

rate is based on the number of contractions of the ventricles (the lower chambers of the heart).

The heart rate may be too fast (tachycardia) or too slow (bradycardia). The pulse is a bulge of an

artery from waves of blood that course through the blood vessels each time the heart beats. The

pulse is often taken at the wrist to estimate the heart rate.” (MedicineNet, 2016). It's all about

getting into shape and staying consistent. Training your heart rate can benefit a individual and

everyone around them, starting with the beginning exerciser trying to increase weight lost, to

individuals trying to improve their cardiovascular fitness, and also to the highly trained

conditioned athlete preparing their body for the next competition at task. The key to making

progress is staying consistent and to raise your heart rate to a consistent, comfortable, training

zone, so the work you put in matches the goals you've set. For an active heart rate, research

suggest that for moderate physical activity a person's heart rate should be 50-70% of their

maximum heart rate which could be obtained by subtracting their age by 220 (CDC, 2015). For a

resting heart rate, research suggest that the average person has an ideal heart rate of 50-70 beats

per minute. Studies show that having a heart rate higher than 76 while resting could be linked to
increasing heart attack chances. The benefit of being in good shape, the slower the heart rate

would be when not exercising, which can decrease the chances of a heart attack (Robinson,

2016).

Walking

Similar to heart rate training, the type of physical activity that an individual performs can

help increase their ending goals to having a healthy living lifestyle. As you engage in physical

activity, the body starts to burn away calories that an individual could have gained from eating or

some sort. Physical activity like running and walking can help prevent excess weight gain or

help maintain weight loss (Mayo clinic, 2016). Since walking is much less intensive than

running, you should choose to walk for longer amounts of time to match the physical exercise of

running. Doing this physical exercise consistently can help a person's heart rate and their body

mass deduction within time. While exercise burns calories, the amount that a person burns off is

depended on the distance they cover and their body's total weight than the pace they achieve.

Data shows that

“during the 15-year study, people who walked gained significantly less weight than those who

didn't; the more walking, the less weight gain” (Harvard health watch, 2009). The most simple

physical activity to engage in would be walking, where the benefits gained from it are life

changing and could help put you back on path to a healthy living lifestyle.

Vegan

Additionally to all the benefits of measuring the metabolic status, and increasing physical

activity, diet change is a big part to getting on path to a healthy living status. Diet is “the kinds

of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats.” (Dictionary.com) But going on a

diet is a person looking for change in their body. Going on a diet would be described as a person
having a certain course of entree to which they restrict themselves from eating, either to lose

weight or could be for medical reasons. Starting a vegan diet is a great way to kicking off a path

to a healthy lifestyle. “A vegan diet is part of a lifestyle that excludes the consumption or use of

any products made from animals.” (Butler, 2017). A vegan diet is a highly nutritious choice,

while this diet only contains plant-based foods, it is rich in nutrients and low in saturated fat. A

study poll from medical news today in 2016 states that 2.5% of people in the united states engage

in a vegan lifestyle. Those numbers are very low, considering the fact that we have the highest

obesity rate in America, goes to show that people don't pay attention or could care less about

their health over all. A benefit that research shows from starting a vegan diet is that it can help

protect bone and heart health, and help prevent your chances of getting cancer (Butler, 2017).

The food that a person chooses to intake into their body is very important. Starting a vegan diet

would do nothing but increase an individual's overall health even though the food chosen might

not be as tasteful as the ones hurting.

Fluid Intake

Moreover, increasing water intake or restricting yourself to water only is a easy way to

starting a healthy living and can be very beneficial. Water tends to make a persons face more

clear and most importantly stop an individual from being dehydrated. Individuals brains are

strongly influenced by their hydration status. Studies show that losing even 2-3% of your body's

water content can affect many aspects of brain function like anxiety, mood, and increased

headaches (Leach, 2017). Simple way to cure that is by drinking a lot of water daily. We are

recommended drinking 8 to 10 regular glasses of water each day to maintain a good health.

Biggest thing would be that our body overall needs water, our cells need it to function properly

to the best of their ability (Top10HomeRemedies, 2017). When performing physical exercises
people tend to become dehydrated, when eating the mouth becomes thirsty, a positive way for a

person to watch their health is by doing the most simplest thing by decreasing carbonated drinks

or increasing water fluid to help stay on path to a healthy living life.

Choosing to have a healthy lifestyle is all about the commitment that an individual puts

into it. It's good for an individual to treat their body right because it makes you feel better, which

could lead to improvements in other areas
