1. FORMULATE YOUR OWN GUIDING PRINCIPLES BASED ON YOUR SUBJECT
AREA

 Encourage active learning.

I ask students to relate what they are learning to something in real life.
They must be able to talk about what they are learning, write about it, relate it
to past experiences, and apply it to their daily lives. Students need to make
learning a part of themselves.

 Give students feedback.

Students need appropriate feedback on their performance. Students need

help in evaluating their current knowledge and capabilities. Within the
classroom, students need frequent opportunities to perform and receive
suggestions for improvement.

2. WHICH DO YOU THINK IS THE BEST TAXONOMY OBJECTIVES FOR THE

PHILIPPINE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM (SECONDARY EDUCATION).

One of the most widely used ways of organizing levels of expertise in

Philippine education system is according to Bloom's Taxonomy. Bloom's
Taxonomy is a convenient way to describe the degree to which we want our
students to understand and use concepts, to demonstrate particular skills, and
to have their values, attitudes, and interests affected. It is critical that we
determine the levels of student expertise that we are expecting our students to
achieve because this will determine which classroom assessment techniques are
most appropriate for the course.
3. PRESENT THE ELEMENTS THAT YOU OUGHT TO CONDSIDER IN THE SELECTION
AND ORGANIZATION OF SUBJECT MATTER CONTENT IN ANY WAY EXCEPT
MERE REPORTING.

1.Validity- teaching the content that we ought to trach according to national

standard explicit in the K-12 Basic Education Curriculum.

2.Significance- should respond to the needs and interests of the learners, hence
meaningful and significant.

3.Balance- content includes not only the facts but also concepts and values.
The use of three level approach ensures the balance of cognitive, psychomotor
and affective lesson content.

4.Self- sufficiency- content fully covers the essentials.

5. Interest- teachers should consider the interest of the learners, the

developmental stage and the cultural and ethnic background.

6. Utility- it should be of use to the learners.

7. Feasibility -the content is feasible in the sense that the essential content that
can be covered in any amount of time available in the instruction.

4. “LIKE ALL THE GOOD TEACHERS, YOU HAVE A TOUCH OF THE ACTOR… YOU
HAVE A TOUCH OF A DOCTOR IN YOU”. IN WHAT SENSE IS THE
PROFESSIONAL TEACHER AN ACTOR, DOCTOR OR NURSE?

Professional teacher with a touch of an actor in them make sense whenever

they have to act normal even if they are having a bad day, teachers don't let it
affect their job. Teachers motivate students and get them involve with your work
the best way they can to make them learn. So, if you have to act out a lesson to
get you to master it. That's what teachers do.
Professional teacher with a touch of a doctor/ nurse in them make sense
because during class, teachers are the protector - the primary guardian of those
kids. Students look up to them in ways that go beyond the job description. Often
times, the teacher will become a kind of surrogate parent, fulfilling the role of a
caretaker.

5. ARE THE GOOD TEACEHERS BORN OR MADE? WHY?

My answer is that teachers are both born and made. Teachers can be born
with a passion for learning, for teaching, for education. Teachers’ personality
traits mean much more than mere academic ability. Teaching is not easy; it is
not for anyone who loves the language or the classroom, only for those willing to
go beyond, born with or developed teaching talent. Good teachers are also
made. They are made over time, through education, perseverance, practice
and guidance. Teachers continue their professional development throughout
their careers.

6. CHOOSE AT LEAST 5 ON THE PRINCIPLES OF TEACHING? EXPLAIN EACH BY

CITING YOUR OWN EXPERIENCES.

1.Teachers must have respect for their students.

I am amaze with my teacher in high school who are very caring for her students
even though her students have not the same nationality she treat us as if we
were her daughter and son. She encouraged us to speak up when we don’t
understand. And we are told to respect every person.

2. There must be order and discipline in the classroom at all times.

Our teacher always told us that we can’t be well educated without discipline. In
school education, discipline is a set of rules & regulations that remind us of the
proper code of behavior. Discipline is ever more important during school life.
3. Expect a lot from the students.

I have been lucky to have teachers who taught me far more than the syllabus,
who showed me how to tackle obstacles head-on and become stronger as a
result. Perfectly planned lessons are one thing, but, to an insecure teenager,
showing that teachers care is essential. With the trust of my teacher I was able to
become SSC officer way back in high school.

4.Never ask the student the unreasonable.

Most of my teacher are very considerate they give students a problem

to solve that has multiple solutions. Guide us with clues and examples.
There is no space for unreasonable scenario that is given to us. So we
can finish our problem with a possible way.

5. Final grade should based on homework, test, and research, not on any other
reason.

When I was in elementary, a common way of a teacher to evaluate our final

grade is with the help of assessment. She was able to give us a grade if we
submit every assignment that she gave and a lot of quizzes and test to take
when we are in the classroom.
