1.0 Introduction

According to Swarthout (2019), oral communication is the process of sharing

ideas verbally to a person or a group of people. It may be formal, like having a personal

conversation. It may also be informal like doing class lectures. In this generation, there

are new forms of oral communication that are being developed through advanced

technologies.

Anxiety is when fearful and worried feelings don't go away. – when it happens

out of nowhere. It is a serious condition that makes hard for you to deal with your daily

routine. Everyone feels anxious every now and then, but for some people who are always

experiencing anxiety a lot is very risky according to Blue (2019).

People inspire each other through sharing information and ideas. It is a key for

each and every one to understand one another. During gatherings and activities, we

communicate a lot to do certain things clearly and properly.

People have different emotions that comes out normally whenever they speak. It

usually comes from the way they think and the way they feel. It may depend from their

surroundings and the people who surrounds them.

Different communicating circumstances, ranging from participating in class to job

interviews, can make you feel uncomfortable as you think that you will be evaluated

negatively by others. Communicating is intimately connected to your self-image, and the

way of showing yourself to the evaluation of others can be threatening whether you are
meeting new people, participating in group discussions, or speaking in front of an

audience, as stated by Susak (2016).
