SURGERY :Surgery is a procedure in which a surgeon
removes cancer from your body.

RADIATION THERAPY : Radiation therapy is a type of cancer

treatment that uses high doses of radiation to kill cancer
cells and shrink tumors.

CHEMOTHERAPY :Chemotherapy is a kind of cancer

treatment that uses drugs to kill cancer cells.
IMMUNOTHERAPY TO TREAT CANCER : Immunotherapy is
a type of treatment that helps your immune system fight
cancer.

HORMONE THERAPY :Hormone therapy is a treatment that

stops or slow the growth of breast and prostate cancers
that use hormones to grow.

STEM CELL TRANSPLANT :Stem cell transplants are

procedures that restore blood forming blood – forming stem
cells in cancer patients who have had theirs destroyed by
very high dosages of chemotherapy or radiation therapy.

WORLD CANCER DAY

World Cancer Day is an international day marked
on February 4 to rise awareness of cancer and to
encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment.
The day is founded by the Union For International
Cancer Control (UICC)to support the goals of
world Cancer Declaration written in 2008. The
primary goal of the World Cancer Day is to
significantly reduce illness and death caused by
cancer by 2020.
CONCLUSION
Cancer is not a single disease; its various forms may
be caused in different ways by combination of ways.
Hence it is highly unlikely that a single cause may be
found for cancer. Cancer should be controlled in
early stages. The radiation therapy is well applicable
for skin,lip,mouth and cervix cancers. Hormone
caused cancers are controlled by hormone therapy.
Another method of removing cancerous cells is by
surgery. A number of chemicals like 6 –
aminoprotein are known to kill cancerous cells.
Recently new drugs have been developed in USA
against throat cancer doxorobocil commonly called
doxil has antitumor ingredient. Smart bomb
developed by Dr.Raj Puri can be used in cancer
therapy. Thus it is necessary to prevent it or cure it
at the first sight so that death rate caused by cancer
can be reduced.
