Theoretical Lyceum «M. Eminescu" from Comrat

1. Theoretical Lyceum "M. Eminescu" traces its history to may 2000.
On 26.07.2000, by the decision of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova,
the Lyceum was opened and has been functioning for 19 years.
2. The Lyceum is headed from 2002 to the present day Svetlana Stoinov,
mathematics teacher, the first managerial degree. A determined purposeful leader
who skillfully directs the activities of his creative team of teachers, students and
parents in the right direction. Throughout the years, he pays much attention to the
development of social partnership as a resource to improve the quality of
specialized education in the Lyceum, the development and strengthening of the
material and technical base of the Lyceum, for which he was repeatedly
encouraged by the Ministry of Education, the Executive Committee of the ATU

3. Personnel structure
The Lyceum has 39 teachers, professionals, making sufficient efforts in teaching
disciplines simultaneously in two languages (Romanian - Russian) provide access
to quality education.
The 400 students are mainly motivated children with a high level of socialization
and cognitive development.
The number of students depends on the environment in which we live, on the
policy of the languages studied in the ATU of Gagauzia and in Moldova.
Lyceum students take prizes in various competitions and Olympiads. In the
period from 2014-2019, the number of participants and prizes in the Olympiad in
school disciplines is growing. Every year Lyceum students multiply previous
achievements, new successes, achieving prizes.
4.441 graduates, whose interests and abilities were formed on the basis of national
and international traditions, graduated from the Lyceum. After graduating from
high school, with knowledge of several foreign languages, they were able to enter
the best Universities in the country and abroad. After receiving education, getting
acquainted with the real possibilities of European life, some graduates return and
successfully introduced into the activities of our Republic, the other part continues
to be our bearers of culture in other countries: Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Cyprus,
Canada, Turkey, Portugal,Italy, America, etc.

5. Attracting grants and investments is one of the main tasks of the Lyceum
development. Every year the Lyceum implements social projects with the
assistance of International funds.
The Lyceum closely cooperates with educational institutions of Moldova,Poland
and Romania,the University of galac "Dunărea de Jos",with the Moldo-Polish
Foundation, Departamentul Românilor de Pretutindeni, youth Center "Pro-
Europe",International Organizations "Amnesty International" ,"Eastern Europe"
and "red Cross", etc. through training sessions and seminars, business games,
concerts, competitions, leisure activities, exhibitions,international excursions and
recreation camps, which contribute to improving the quality of education in the
Lyceum and the development of creative abilities in the future of their application
in real life.

The Lyceum has been developing the best traditions of the national school for 19
years.
