French Delegation to the G8 & G20 Youth Summits

Youth Diplomacy released yesterday the results of selection for the French delegation to
the G8 & G20 Youth Summits. We are proud to welcome on board the Host Delegation !
 
Gatien BON is awarded the position of President of the French Republic. Gatien is a All Notes
student in Economy and Public Policy at Ecole Polytechnique. He has a great international
experience thanks to his participation to a Summer School at Yale University as well as his
Internship in the Military School of the Virginia Military Institute of Lexington. Tagged
 
The Ministry of Defense will be lead by Samuel LEVAL. As a student from the Institute for
High International Studies from University Panthéon-Assas, he has held an Intern Position
in a French Think Tank specialized on Defense Issues: Les Cercles de Brienne.
 
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is represented by Sabrina BOLZER, a student from La
Sorbonne with a major in Political Sciences and International Relations. She was an Intern
of the Foundation for Strategic Research (Think Tank on Defense issues) and the
Foundation Robert Schuman (European Think Tank on EU Foreign Affairs). Embed Post

Penelope LIOT will be the Minister of Economics. She is a double-degree student from
HEC and Sciences Po for a Master in Public and Private Management. She also studies at
La Sorbonne for a Master in Contemporary History for a dissertation on the G20.
 
 
Matthieu SOULE is the French Minister for Finance. He is an Alumnus from Audencia
Nantes Business School  with a Consulting and International Strategy Management Major.
He is currently working as a Business Strategy Analyst for BNP Paribas Worldwide Retail
Banking. He worked in the US for one year and a half and followed the MBA program at
XIME Bangalore, India for one semester.
 
The Ministry of Environment relies in the hands of Jérémy LAMRI, graduating student
from HECʼs Master for Sustainable Development Management. He previously got a
Bachelor Degree in Applied Sciences from Oxford University and is currently working at
Oraxys Capital Development in Clean and Green Technologies as an Analyst.
 
Kilian VIVIEN is appointed to the position of Ministry of Development. He has held several
similar positions in different international Models and is currently studying at Sciences Po,
for a Master majored in International Relations, European Politics and Crisis Management.
 
Mélissa LAI FAT-PANI will embody the French Sherpa for G8 Affairs (×). She is currently
a student of La Sorbonne in International Relations and an alumnus from INALCO, the
National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations. She has held several intern
positions at the UNESCO, the Presidency of the French Government in Polynesia, and the
American Embassy in Paris. She will prepare the negotiations of the G8 & G20 Youth
Summits with her Advisor (*) for Defense and Foreign Affairs Corinne CHAMPILOU.
Corinne is graduating from Sciences Po Master of Public Affairs. She was an Intern at the
World Policy Institute (New York) and previously a Junior Consultant at Edelman Public
Relations (Montreal).
 
Jonas BAYARD has been awarded the position of Sherpa for G20 Affairs (×). Jonas is an
Alumnus from the London Metropolitan Business School. He was an Intern Advisor of the
French Minister for Prospective and Development of the Numeric Economy and worked at
the Foundation France-Israël and the Foundation Casques Rouges. His team will include
an Advisor (*) for Economic and Monetary Affairs, Geneviève ROUSSILLON, studying at
HEC with a major in Finance and Strategy. The Advisor (*) for Environment issue will be
Michaël RAVIER, a Student of La Sorbonne, in International Relations.

The French delegation, as a host delegation, has selected a G8 and a G20 Sherpa to Home Create
Matthieu
ensure the quality of coordination between the delegates.
(*) Advisor will help in research and review of the position papers but will not enter the
negotiations as a delegate. They will also help in broadcasting the Final Communiqué and
building the network as a platform of knowledge.
