The Center welcomes law students who are willing to be exposed and be trained in human rights advocacy.

Joining the internship program is both a challenge and a commitment. Interns are expected to be actively involved in the

The Ateneo Human Rights Center (AHRC) was established in
1986 as one of the first university-based institutions engaged in Immersion week Janary 19-22 2019

It is housed in the Ateneo School of Law in Rockwell, Makati.

The objectives of AHRC are:

þ To form human rights lawyers and advocates;

Pursuant to these objectives, AHRC assigns law students

through the internship program to work with human rights
organizations around the Philippines, conducts seminars for
government and non-government organizations and grassroots
communities, publishes human rights materials, and renders
legal assistance to indigent clients.
