Chapter 1
Introduction
Introduction should not be less that one page at least it should be one
and half page. It should consists of the brief information of you project
and what are the similar methods carried out. Introduction may be
in the paragraphs with proper references of citation. Introduction also
consists of figures which are properly captioned.
It is very important to note that there should not be any space before
the comma(,) or full stop (.).
Last paragraph of the introduction should give flow of information
in succeeding chapter.

Study the LATEX code in chapt3.tex. It will help you for figure insertion,
math using LATEX . Table creation, citations, labels.
The Table 3.1 is used to explain how table can be created in Latex and
also observe how table in the document can be referred in text.

the strain-gauge. As the strain gauge is deformed, its electrical resis-
tance changes in proportion to the load. • The Gas Sensor is also one
of the components used to detect the leakage of the LPG Gas (Methane
and Propane) which converts one form of the signal into other Form. •
When the target combined gas exist, the sensor’s conductivity is heavier
with the gas concentration rising. we used simple circuit to convert re-
spective output signal according to concentration level. • We are using
GSM Modem to alert the user by sending SMS(Short Message Service)
about Gas Leakage and LPG level indicator. • As filled cylinder is kept
on load cell .the load cells check the level. • Depending on our require-
ment and use we keep the cutoff level. • When the gas level reaches the
cutoff level the alarm starts ringing. • The gas agency gets the message
through gsm module and as a user we also gets the sms. • The message
sent is the customer name and “customer id”, for the booking purpose.
• If in case the gas leakage occurs then also message is given to the
customer. • This message is sent for a purpose of safety.
