Analysis:

Grade II St. Margaret has a total of 19 students, 6 boys and 4 girls have nasal discharge, 10 boys
and 8 girls have poor visual acuity, 8 boys and 7 girls have dental carries while 1 boy had an enlargement
of the tonsil.

Implications:

To avoid or cure nasal discharge it is advised to increase fluid intake and take vitamin C, for
Visual Acuity it is recommended to be referred to an optometrist or ophthalmologist for further
evaluation and management of decreased visual acuity also perform proper eye care. Dental carries or
cavities or cavities is common within this age group. Possible reason for this is either too much intake of
sweet foods or it may be a sign for the eruption of their permanent teeth. It is advised to be referred to
a dentist and to avoid this in the future also perform proper oral care. Enlargement of tonsil is
commonly a sign of infection or irritation from things like smoke or polluted air. Some people just
naturally have larger tonsils. This is usually treated when it interferes the child’s ability to sleep, eat or
breathe.

Grade IV St. Veronica has a total of 23 students, 5 boys and 4 girls have nasal discharge, 6 boys
and 8 girls have poor visual acuity and lastly, 8 boys and 4 girls have dental carries.
