Monograph
Through the last fifty years, international business has experienced very significant
transformations that helped many countries to expand around the world and partner up
with other ones. Buckley (2012) argued that there is three main transformations in the
modern world, one of them is the grow into educational level, by that I mean institutions who
get into the business world (p.1). Other ones are the use of networks, like social media,
internet and the easiest ways to connect with other around the world. Also, countries getting
together and develop partnerships that can help businesses to grow and expand their sales
into a much larger concept. Although, these are good concepts to talk about, he states each
of them by chapters (p. vii) in where he describes and gives full details of them. How people
can develop such a skills to negotiate with big businesses? Well by that institutions provide
sources and help for the people who wants to study this major (p. 51). By learning
courses and network through the years can help to develop good skills. Networking is easy
to do now in days? Just by going through your phone and searching up businesses and their
goals can be really simple. Social media and internet can provide a lot of resources, such as
expand your business, partnership with others through the other side of the world and many
things.

The varieties that each institution have for international business should be aware of
the same point. Every institution tries to give the best understanding of the major, but not
all of them have the same perspective for it. According to U.S Department of Education
(2008) for what universities should focus more is the ideal to focus on faculty development
and international courses in function areas (p. 35) For example international methods
should play a big role in business majors as part to understand it, U.S Department of
Education (2008) used three main methods for it, such as knowledge of internationally
information, empathy to see a problem from the perspective of another culture, and task
performance that help to do tasks successfully in the international environment (p. 39).
Every institution should be open-minded and understand the real concepts and problems
that international major struggle with, so in the future students can be prepared to face real
problems.

Women are strong structure for international businesses now in days, making a huge
impact and contributing to big businesses around the world. Khron (1995) emphasize over
the past 25 years, females have been misunderstood and being less than males. Most of the
cultures around the world have manipulates and does not give enough opportunities for
women in the business industry (p. 60). Through the years there’s been special schools and
organizations for females who likes to be part of the global business. Business schools have
been a good develop for young business women who can experience an educational level.
However, the future of international business can grow tremendously for females and men
who can partnership to make businesses grow (p. 61). Such as society is being equal now in

Students who are majoring in international business can struggle with scholarships
and research, in the United States institutions many individuals need the help for economical
issues. According to Sharma (2019) this is a huge gap for scholarly organizations, many
believe that international students are the top talent for making huge contributions toward

the future economic of businesses, also into political and national discussions (p. i). Toward
this problem organizations do not realize on how international students struggle to maintain
into their major without dropping classes. This journal emphasizes the day-to-day struggle
for business students who need the support of organizations and help for their financial
economy (p.i). Also, because international business students are very diverse into the field,
many of them struggle to find scholarships that can be available to them (p. vii). Based on

Countries from Asia have been important topics for international markets. China,
South Korea, and Japan are larger international countries who plays huge roles in United
States economy. According to Ser (1996), graduate and undergraduate students who can
have the opportunity to study abroad or have internships should go to Asia countries that
have more future towards working for international companies (p. 67). Over the years these
countries have been adapting to invest into innovating programs in educational and training
institutions (p. 69). The corporates of Asian businesses also been incorporating internships
and job opportunities for students. Many CEO’s from international companies have been
improving to create more jobs outside their countries and develop of businesspeople. Asia
contributes to the help in the progress of many effective businesses around the world.

From the study of international business, there is many courses you have to take in
order to graduate. Students are expected to have an experience on social, political and
business environment, also with courses that will help them into the business field (p. 80).
According to Ahmed (1996) there is many requirements in order for a student to have a job
into companies that focus on international business (p. 81). Have a two year experience into
their major or minor, have knowledge of more than two languages according to where their
jobs are going to be and have diploma majoring international business, are a few
requirements for job positions. From this major the courses are accounting, business policy,

country and learned more about big businesses, can make a huge impact towards the
education level you obtaining in college. During this major, professors suggest that students
should study abroad at least twice during their college years, not only to network with other
people but to be familiar with business field. Towards the future study abroad improves the
solving of real-life problems and increase on the creativity of the student. The students also
needs to maintain good networking skills to obtain more opportunities towards their
careers. Colleges should provide with more opportunities to develop the right skills for the
business world.
