Earth. Ranked as fifth largest planet in the Solar System yet could not even contain peace.

Peace? Is there even such a thing in this planet? Will it even be possible to exist in such a world like ours?

World peace has always been a focal issue since the immemorial time. As this concept has been the talk
of the town for many years, questions continue to arise from the public: Is it possible? Is world peace
possible?

Now, open your eyes and take a look around you. Observe the world you are living in.

Bullying.

Discrimination.

Environmental destruction.

Crimes and violence.

Aren't you ashamed? Aren't you ashamed for the future generation who would be seeing this chaotic
scenario once they opened up their innocent eyes?

Now, imagine what might have been the world if these do not exist. Could you imagine a world free from
the presence of war and conflict? Could you imagine a world free from tears and screams of suffering?
Could you imagine a world as a better place?

What if...

We just learned how to respect and accept each other's flaws. What if, instead of hurting other people,
we would offer hands to help other people who are in need? Don't you think bullying would still arise?
Don't you think people would still hang on to committing suicide just to escape the cruel reality?

How about discrimination? Have you ever imagined the world where there would be no laughs be
thrown at ethnic and indigenous people? What if we just learned how to accept each other's culture and
background? What if, instead of dragging people down because of their color, we would lift them up?
What if there would be unity in diversity?
Not only these, crimes and violence also poses a huge threat to us, humans. Have you ever imagined the
thought of opening television just to be surprised that instead of crimes and murder being reported in
the national tv, what we would be seeing is the headline "finally, peace on Earth.". Imagine the absence
of fear of women to be raped or abused. Imagine the absence of fear of young children to be kidnapped
or damaged. Imagine what might have been if only people knew how to respect the rights of other
people. Don't you think people would still resort into hurting or killing someone?

On a final note, environmental destruction. . Have you ever thought what the world would be like when
there was no even a teeny tiny bit of trash across the street? What if we were disciplined enough to take
care of our environment? What if we were not lazy to keep our trash inside our pockets? Don't you think
we would be suffering like this? Don't you think there would be homes and families be destroyed if only
we were responsible enough for our actions? Don't you think we would be free from these terrifying
disasters?

Final question. What if we, humans, were not blinded by ignorance and greed? Don't you think our
planet would be like this? Don't you think many people would be suffering?

It is never too late to take an action. Peace does not start with letter P. It starts with U.
