M&E Manager

Responsibilities:

 To manage all matters relating to M&E in development projects covering both M&E
System and Facilities to ensure optimize commercial values, cost effectiveness and
timely delivery and completion.
 To manage M&E Contracts and Specialist Vendors for adherence to market best practice
in terms of system design, compliance to quality control for installation and cost control
within approved budget.
 To liaise with Authorities on matters relating to approvals and ensure system proposed
comply with both local and international standards.
 To ensure the procurement and installation of M&E system comply with QESH
Management Manual.
 To carry out any other jobs and responsibilities as and when necessary as instructed by
the immediate superior and/or the management

Requirement

 Possess Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.

 Minimum 8 – 10 years’ working experience preferably from a building and construction
industry in a similar position.
 Conversant in bilingual languages, namely English and Bahasa Malaysia.
 Have good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with strong inclination
towards quality management practices.
 Knowledgeable in ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 Standard and provide
unlimited support for the implementation and on-going maintenance for the Company’s
Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Management System (QHSEMS).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: RM6,000.00 to RM15,000.00 /month

Resident Engineer (Electrical)

recruiting a Resident Engineer (Electrical) to join their Engineering team in East Malaysia.

About the job:

As the Resident Engineer (Electrical) you will be responsible for a range of business critical task
Including:

 Plan, coordinate, monitor and report routine preventive maintenance and unplanned
corrective maintenance of the Electrical Network Monitoring and Control System
(ENMCS) at Petronas Utilities Kerteh (UK) and Utilities Gebeng (UG).
 To plan resource, material and equipment requirements and to control material
consumption for the execution of service activities.
 To supervise and control service engineers and/ or subcontractors engaged for the
execution of service activities.
 To perform planned or unplanned corrective maintenance on the ENMCS as and when
required by either Utilities Kerteh or Utilities Gebeng.
  To provide full report on all activities carried out in relation to any reported incident and all
the findings, root cause and solutions used.
 To plan and perform regular & periodic preventive maintenance and health check of the
ENMCS (inclusive of IEC61850 network, intelligent electronic devices or IEDS, protection
relays and associated equipment) at Utilities Kerteh and Utilities Gebeng.
 To be on standby to support Utilities Kertah and Utilities Gebeng for any planned or
unplanned corrective maintenance activities.

Requirement:

To succeed in this role you must possess the following skills & experience:

 Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

 Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering work experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or
power plant.
 Good knowledge with Electrical protection system.
 Work experience for Petronas project / facility is highly advantage.
 Good communication skills and possess good customer service attitude.

Status of hiring:

 3 years contract
 Must be willing to work and base in east Malaysia (Kerteh & Gabeng). Service apartment
in Kuantan can be arranged by company.
 Flexi working hour on Oncall Standby basis.

Clerk Of Work

 Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical from a recognised technical institution.

 Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in supervision of construction works.
 Competent in preparing inspection reports, site instructions and sketch details.
 Ability to coordinate and work with other members of site supervisory team.
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Description:

 To maintain R.F.I. and V.O records.

 To carry out quality control on all materials delivered and used in the works as required
by the specifications and maintaining proper records.
 To compile list of unsatisfactory/defective works (Non-Conformance Report) to Project
Manager and/or Resident Engineer for onward transmission to Contractor for action.
 To maintain and update records of unsatisfactory/defective works (Non-Conformance
Report) and follow up accordingly until rectification works are done satisfactorily.
 To receive instructions from Consultants and upon approval from the Project Manager
and/or Resident Engineer, act on it immediately and accordingly.
 To compile a comprehensive Schedule of Defects prior to practical completion of the
project.
 To monitor and inspect all items in the Schedule of Defects to ensure satisfactory
compliance by Contractor.
