OUR VISION

To encourage youth to reach great heights and to unveil their hidden

talents. JP group organizes the most beautiful and the most awaited mega

fest – “INCEPTRA aiming to disperse some life in the air and build up an

atmosphere where fun is kith and joy is kin. The mission of the Festival is

"to bring the community together" with unlimited fun.

GENERAL RULES
❖ Carrying College ID card is a must around the clock.
❖ Wearing the Inceptra T-shirts of respective colleges is mandatory for all the students of all years.
❖ Students should enroll themselves in the events before the provided date of registration
❖ Once the institute sends the list of participants (Entry Forms) no change will be permitted
thereafter.
❖ In case of collision of two events, the participant will choose one, he/ she wants to participate in,
however the schedule will be provided much ahead and the decisions can be made accordingly.
❖ Participants should reach the venue half an hour before start of the event and report to the
concerned incharge.
❖ Students participating in the sports events will have to fill the consent form.
❖ Decision of Judge(s) is final and binding.
❖ Disqualifying a team may be done by the organizers anytime on basis of misbehavior,
misconduct or presentation not on theme. Thereby implying, thorough reading of the rules of
individual events before participating. Maintaining discipline and decorum of the event is a must.
❖ 2019 Inceptra organizing committee has the final authority and say in all matters.

GENERAL RULES :

✓ All the required material will be brought by the participants.


✓ Damaging others painting/ crafts will lead to disqualification.
✓ Any sort of copying or tracing is not allowed.
✓ Judges decision is binding.

1. T – SHIRT DESIGNING :
In this competition, design and paint your own T-shirt. It is a place where everyone and anyone can join in. And
yes, you need not be an expert to do this. All you require is a blast of energy and lots of enthusiasm. Bring out the
creativity that’s hidden in you and let your personality reflect in it. No Pre-requisites are required.
• T - shirts will be provided by the organizers.
• Designing your T shirt with cuttings, adding of some ribbons etc. is allowed and may fetch some
more points.
• The painted T – shirt will be retained by the organizers.
• Judging criteria: concept, effective use of painting style, creativity, effectiveness of the message to be
conveyed and an overall impact of T shirt.
Theme: WATER : A NECESSITY No. of participants: 1 student Time duration: 1 hour.

2. LOGO AFFICHE : (poster making )


Define your audience and distill your message as you design for impact. Let your ideas flow as Inceptra brings
forth this genre of art..
• Card sheets will be provided by the organizers.
• Judging criteria: concept, creativity, effectiveness of the message and an overall impact.
Theme :RIGHT TO FREEDOM No. of participants : 2 Time duration : 1 hour 30 mins.

3. DESIGN A RANGOLI
Rangoli is traditionally considered as a symbol of luck and many of our houses still practice it every day. So,
Inceptra provides you a platform to unveil your potential and put forward the best. All you need to do is splash
your colors in rangoli…..
Judging criteria: concept, creativity, colors, effectiveness, neatness, finishing & overall impact.
Theme : Suswagatam No. of participants :Team of 4 Time duration : 1 hr 30 mins.

4. Montage (COLLAGE MAKING)


Collage is like a hall of mirrors. Every direction you look, you see something different and visually stimulating.
Create one of your own and transform it into a mosaic and dazzle us with your creativity! And when you have
such a sensitive topic , affecting the society.. the creativity to produce a really productive art is must …
• Card sheets will be provided by the organizers.

5. CARTOONS ARE ON:


Cartoon painting: There stays a child in our heart. However old we may grow, our childhood cartoons characters
are somewhere in our subconscious memory forever … So Inceptra gives you a chance to remember your favorite
cartoons for one more time and to bring them to your canvas… being it Mickey Mouse to Uncle Scrooge …
Being it Tom and Jerry or Doremon….
• Card sheets will be provided by the organizers.
• Freestyle competition. Each participant has to draw a cartoon character or a small story.
• Colors may or may not be used. Language/ writing small words/ texts for explanation of context is
allowed.
• Judging criteria: concept, creativity, neatness and an overall impact.

6. EXPRESSIONS : (PENCIL SKETCH)


Art is an impressive way of expressing your thoughts to the society … Pencil Sketching: Color the sheet with
shades of gray and clouds of imagination! Come, Participate, sketch and feel Inceptra !
• Card sheets will be provided by the organizers.
Theme : WHEN WORDS FAIL, EYES SPEAK No. of participants: 1 Time duration : 1 hour

7. HENNA- MEHNDI
MEHNDI : brings luck and charm for the girls and ladies . It has its own importance and place in our culture
since ages and it continues…. So this section of competition allows the individual to produce the best and finest
of the art forms of Mehndi.
• Individual participation. 1/2 to 2/3rd of the forearm is to be covered by the design on the palmar aspect of
hand. Time duration : 1 hour

8. CUSHION DESIGNING
Stitching is an art and not everyone’s cup of tea. It needs great skill and talent to produce a real worthwhile piece.
So this Inceptra, is providing a platform to present this piece of talent. This is basically a stitching competition ..
• Contestants are required to bring their own basic uncovered cushions and plain cushion cover. Stitching is
to be done on the spot.
• Only the front part of the cover needs to be ready as the part presented will only be judged. Any material
including laces, threads, beads, buttons etc can be used.
• Judgment will be done on the basis of neatness, design, amount of effort and presentation.
• It's a one man show. Time allotted: 1 hour 30 minutes.

9. POT PAINTING-
Pot is the ceramic material which makes up pottery wares, of which major types include earthenware, stoneware
and porcelain. This segment of competition deals with the painting and decoration of pot….
o Size of pot – MEDIUM / LARGE
o Primer can be put earlier. Basic paints and decoration to be done here.
o Judging will be made on the displayed part only.
Time alloted- 2 hrs. No of participants per college : 1

10. CANVAS – SKETCH WORDS IN A PORTRAIT


A completely new technical form of art. In this event the participants will be given a phrase or few lines or a
song, based on these words, combining with the imagination & artist of the artist..theme or essence of the words,
a painting needs to be made.. So this section of painting is technical and challenging too..
• Card sheets will be provided by the organizers.
No. of participants per college : 1 Time allotted : 1 hour 30 minutes.

11. NAIL ART


Nail art is a creative way to paint, decorate, enhance, and embellish the nails. It is a type of artwork that can be
done on fingernails and toenails, usually after a manicure or a pedicure.This event is for girls only.Art is to be
made by nail paints only. Any number of colors can be used. Artificial long nails cannot be used. No beads,
stickers or add ons allowed.
o Judging criteria: symmetry of design of all 5 fingers, neatness, design, color scheme and finishing.
o Time limit 30 mins. No of participants : 1

12. SOAP CARVING


Carving is an ancient art form. Sculptures carved out of rock or marble are seen world wide. But using this art of
carving on soap is innovation. Soap carving is a fun and easy way to create sculptures from a bar of soap. Soap
will be provided on spot Theme : Nature No of participants : 1
Time 45 mins.

13. CLAY MODELLING COMPETITION


This is a freestyle craft and/ or clay modeling competition. In this, any model can be made by using clay. But
colors are not allowed. Any amount of clay can be used. Additional side decors are allowed. Participants have to
bring the clay and required materials. No of participants: 1 member Time: 1 hour
Theme: freestyle.

14. PHOTO FRAME DECORATION COMPETITION
Photo-frames are the most cherish-able gifts in one’s life, and creating your own photo-frame sounds so exciting.
In this competition, each participant has to get the basic frames prepared, being wooden or POP or any other
material. But it should be unfinished and without any paint. Participants have to decorate their photo frames in
their own way. Best photo-frames can be retained by the college.
• All the basic colors to be applied on the spot. Only primer is allowed.
• All the decoration to be done on the spot.
No of participants :Team of 2 members. Time : 1 hour. Theme : Freestyle.

15. FUNK FROM JUNK (BEST OUT OF WASTE)


Leaving engineering out of Inceptra, it just cannot happen. This is a group event. This is an Elaborate task event
where the participants are supposed to use the sticks to build a structure that should achieve the goal. The basic
structures include ice cream sticks and glue..addons include thread, match stick or newspaper etc …
For eg: build a structure that holds standard size mobile phone for at least one whole minute or build a boat out of
matchsticks that will take mobile phone from one edge of a water body to another.. and so on… Here’s the
opportunity to make creative structures

16. FINGER PAINTING


Painting is always fun..but in this event painting is to be done but no brushes are allowed, rather fingers are to be
used to paint. This is another fun painting event, Inceptra 2017 has introduced for the young painters to bring out
their creativity.
• Card sheets will be provided by the organizers.
Theme : Keep calm, fight cancer and WIN No. of participants: a team of 2 Time allotted : 1 hour.

17. FORT MAKING COMPETITION


Castles & fort are cherished and loved by each and every child. Inceptra gives you an opportunity to put forward
your ideas for fort making. No rules or limitations for this competition. Any type of material including covering
papers, boxes, cylinders, décor items etc can be used. More the castle is ready for display, more will be the points
awarded. The marking will be based on the creativity, cleanliness, decoration etc.
Area allotted: 3 X 2 FT No. of participants: a team of 5 Time duration :2 hours

18. MAKING OF BRIDAL / GROOM PROCESSION

Processions are an important part of Indian wedding, being it bridal or groom. Both the sides of the family are
equally enthusiastic and are at the best arrangements during the procession. So, this is a completely different out
of the box competition which gives every individual an opportunity to go back to the memories of the marriages
of the closed ones and recollect the memories of the best processions they have attended. So, all the participants
need to collect all the required pieces and make a beautiful procession bridal or groom.
Area allotted: 3 X 2 FT No. of participants: a team of 5-6 Time duration :2
hours

19. HANDICRAFT MAKING
This competition belongs to all the highly creative people who have the talent to engineer any piece of handicraft.
No rules or limitations for this competition. Any type of material including papers, boxes, cylinders, décor items,
laces etc. can be used. More the handicraft is ready and beautiful, more will be the points awarded. The marking
will be based on the cleanliness, decoration, presentation etc.

General rules:
✓ In events that require music, Participants should submit their tracks in a Pen drive (name and details
should be written on it) half an hour before the event starts.
✓ No fire, water and heavy objects should be used on stage.
✓ No indecency will be tolerated on stage.
✓ Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
✓ Musical Instruments will not be provided by us.

1. GROUP DANCE COMPETITION


Dance is the hidden language of the soul. Watch! as every team lets its story unfold on stage to the beats. The
biggest cultural fest of North India brings to you to the ultimate war of dance. Every team puts in all for the title
as they perform on stage. So feel the waves of energy and ecstasy as dance comes live like never before. So join
us at this dynamic stage as the voltage is turned high & the stage is charged with different types of Bollywood and
hip hop ….. So impress us with your Bollywood Jhatkas or style.
• Dance can be performed on a single song or a parody of songs. Props are allowed. Perfect costumes and
make up will add up to your performance.
• Acts with expressions, liveliness, movement on stage, concept, level of steps, co ordination and over all
impact on people will fetch more marks.

2. ENGLISH SKIT COMPETITION:
Dramatics is a state of art which enables an individual to learn the act of expression. Dramatics helps develop
expressiveness and effectiveness in ones’ life. This is a simple English dramatic competition, where a small story
is to be enacted on stage. These can be from Shakespeare to Cinderella..
• The script is to be spoken on stage. No pre recorded script will be entertained.
• Graphics or background animations can be used if required.
• Marking will be done on presentation, script, effectiveness, costumes and over all impact.

3. ACT OF DASHAVATAR –NRITYA NATIKA –


This competition deals with Hindi musical skit regarding Dashavataram of ‘Shri Hari Vishnu’ god. This is a very
interesting segment of competition where a story is to be enacted in a musical or semi musical form. Out of the 10
avatar of Shri Vishnu, any one story is to be depicted.. be it ‘Matysa avatar’, ‘Varah avatar’, ‘Kashchap avatar’,
‘Narsingh avatar’, ‘Vaman avatar’, ‘ShriParshuram avatar’, ‘Shri Ram’, ‘Shri Krishna’, ‘BhagwanBudh’ or ‘Kalki
avatar’….. So now participants have a chance to learn the life and preachings of God by reading and
understanding these avatar and combine their learning with dance and drama ….Visuals can be used through
power point presentation.
• The acts will be allotted on first come first basis for avatars…
• Wordings/ script to be spoken on stage, however bhajans and music can be taken pre recorded.
• Judging criteria includes: picturisation of the theme, use of costume/ make-up/ props, effectiveness of
dialogue delivery, expressions, effectiveness of act, effective visualization of important events,
coordination and over all impact on people.

4. FLASH MOB
Dancing with feet is one thing and dancing with heart another. This is a completely different social sector of
competition in which the dance is to be combined with a social message. So the dancers have to make their
movements and steps effective enough to move the audience with their message….
• Dance can be performed with live song/ music, single song or a parody of songs. Including props and
charts will fetch more marks. Perfect costumes and make up will add on the performance.
• Judging criteria: Concept, co-ordination, level of energy and over all impact on people.

5. CONTEMPORARY DANCE-
Live your truth, express your love, share your enthusiasm, take actions towards your dreams… walk your talk,
dance and sing to your music, embrace your blessings, make today worth remembering…. by Dr. Steve
Marauboli…. This is a competition for contemporary form of dance with theme. The acts need to be creative with
some acting and more of dancing. The competition gives a wide zone for creativity…. in which any concept with
transformation can be used.
• Dance can be performed with single song or a parody of songs. Props are allowed. Perfect costumes and
make up will add on the performance.
• Judging criteria: Concept, co-ordination, level of energy, effectiveness of act and over all impact.
Theme : when darkness becomes light No. Of Participants: a team of 2-5 Time On Stage : 4 + 2 mins

6. DECIBEL : GROUP SONG COMPETITION
Longing for a platform to showcase your vocal skills? Inceptra - an awesome stage to perform on, and Decibel is
the best place to be! The competition allows you to enhance the performance and vocal skills through various
notes ..ups and downs … the song may be a single song / parody or even a part of original piece ..
• Languages : Hindi. Accompaniment as instruments or backing track is allowed.
Theme: QAWWALI Time On Stage : 4 +1 Minutes No Of Participants– 5- 8

7. SILENT MODE ACTIVITY


Humor in silence is an art and making somebody laugh through your gestures is what we are looking forward in
this segment of competition. All that matters and values is your act, body movements, body language and
expressions. No words allowed. Props are allowed.
• Judgment: based on Originality/ Creativity, humor, way of presentation and over all impact.
Time on stage : 3+2 mins. No. of participants : 1-2

8. STAND UP COMEDY
COMEDY SHOW :Humor is an art. It is not easy to make some body laugh. Some people are gifted with this
talent. Stand up comedy is a competition for those talented people who can make others laugh. So if you have wit
or a taste for smart humor, make sure you're there!
• A prepared act in Hindi and/ or English is to be presented. No props are allowed.
• Judging criteria: Originality, Humor, content,wayof presentation,effectiveness&over all impact.

9. NUKKAD NATAK
Want to send a message through your acting? Inceptra gives you the chance to perform in front of enormous
floating crowd. Start that wave! Come do a street play and raise you voice against the theme “PRESSURE OF
PARENTS ON CHILDREN FOR CHOOSING A PARTICULAR CAREER PATH”. Participating teams are
free to deal with any particular social issue concerning the topic under this umbrella.
• Only acoustic and percussion instruments will be allowed.
• Props/costumes are to be brought by the participants.
• Any language including Hindi and English can be used.
• Plays will have to deal with the theme.
• Judging criteria: Originality, Creativity, substance, content, portrayal and Overall impact of the act.
Bonus marks for technical innovations like music, animation/stop motion, etc.

10. MAGIC SHOW


We all have enjoyed magician / Jadugar shows in our childhood. Inceptra brings you all a platform to present
some of your magic tricks. You can take everyone to a whole new world where nothing is impossible. So, show
your mesmerizing magic tricks.
• Judging Criteria: Creativity, way of entertainment, effectiveness, and over all impact.
• No fire/ indecency on stage.
Time allotted : 3+2 mins. No. of participants : 1+1

11. DUET SONG SINGING
The Brand Rovers of JP invite you to be a part of duet singing, for glory is to those who come out as victors!
Enjoy the melody of gala duet songs … and vocal skills through various notes ..ups and downs … the song may
be a single song / parody or even a part of original piece ..
Performances should be in Hindi language. Accompaniment as instruments or backing track is allowed.
The competition will be held in 2 rounds – where the first round is Bollywood song competition.
Then 6 participants with highest marks will be selected to the next round, which is a patriotic song / folk singing
round.
All the songs are pre-prepared.
Time On Stage : 2 +1 Minute for each song.

12. SHORT BOLLYWOOD DRAMA COMPETITION:


“Movies will make you famous; Television will make you rich; But theatre will make you good.” -Terrence
Mann. Movie lovers stay in each and every house of India. This is a stage competition where the teams have to
take up any scene from any bollywood movie and project it live. Some innovations are always welcomed. The
movies must be recognizable. Mimicry of at least 3 Bollywood actors/ actress are to be used within the drama.
Actors can be heart throbbing heros to the devil villains..but limited to the Bollywood. If you have the moves to
make people look on in awe, whether as a team or as an individual, this is the place to be! Be there!. The act can
be with or without music … with or without dances….
• Act can be performed with live song/ music or parody of songs. Including props and charts will fetch
more marks. Perfect costumes and make up will add on the performance.
• Judging criteria: Concept, co-ordination, level of energy and over all impact on people.

1. ENGLISH OLYMPIAD
Are you a bookworm? Do you have a way with words? Are you already a Spell Bee veteran? Or a novice looking
for some fun? Sharpen your pencils and get ready… This is a English Vocabulary competition which includes
various rounds from spell check, synonyms, antonyms, wordsworth (with one big word displayed and to derive
multiple smaller words from it), idioms (telling the english versions of the hindi sayings) and many more … The
participating teams will be onstage. There will be rapid-fire rounds to determine the winner.

2. SUDOKU CHAMPIONSHIP
Sudoku is a challenging number puzzle game designed for players of all ages. Basically your target is to fill all
blank cells with a number between 1 and 9. Every 3x3 block must contain each of these numbers once. The same
is required for rows and columns over 9 cells. Inceptra brings Sudoku championship, where total 20 sudoku of
medium difficulty level will be provided. Time limit of 1 hour will be given. Team who solves max.no.of Sudoku
will be declared winner. In case of tie, 1 sudoku will be given as tie breaker and faster team wins.

3. WE SCREEN , YOU SCRIPT COMPETITION


Writing is a form of personal freedom. Creative writing is anything where the purpose is to express thoughts,
feelings and emotions rather than to simply convey information. In this section, a single or a group of two pictures
will be given. Based on the picture and using the imagination, a creative write up is to be given. Sheets will be
provided by the organizers. Rest of the required things – pen/ pencil / eraser will be carried by the participants.
No. of participants :1 Themes : pictures will be displayed on the spot. Time : 1 hour.

4. CALLIGRAPHY – Hindi / English


Calligraphy is all about the beauty and symmetry of the writing (likhawat). Give us a peek into those castles in
your mind and show us some beautiful font! Push a pencil as we bring you the English and Hindi calligraphy. The
write-up for both hindi and English will be provided on the spot. Sheets will be provided by the organizers. Rest
of the required things – pen/ pencil / eraser will be carried by the participants.
Time : 1 hour. No. of participants: 2 for hindi & English each.

5. EXTEMPORE – Hindi / English


The longest two minutes are the last of a lecture, the shortest, the last in an exam. But, the most exciting ones are
in Extempore. The topic will be disclosed 5 minutes before the turn of participant. Each participant has to speak
for 2 minutes at a stretch. No stammering, pause is allowed. Most fluent talk will win the show.

6. DEBATE – Hindi / English
The assortment of this event, ranges from the speaking events that bring forth the talents of the sharp minds and
smooth tongues, for the ever- inquisitive.
Hindi Debate – “ Badalne ki shamta hi buddhimatta ka map hai.”
English Debate –“Should humans eat to live or live to eat”.

7. SPEECH DELIVERY CONTEST


If you have the inborn capabilities to address a large audience and crowd, this Inceptra provides you a preliminary
stage to perform your speech. In this competition, famous speeches are to be delivered. The speeches can be of
any famous personality being Prime Minister Modi to famous industrialist Ratan Tata…

8. QUIZZARD
Quizzard is a comprehensive (really long + indepth) General Knowledge test on everything and anything around
the world from Aaryabhata to Zenana, we've got Dhoom-Dhadaka, Cool Patakas, Rajinikanth, Rasgullas and
everything in between! Put on your thinking turbans & take part in this exhilarating journey across the warp and
weft of this beautiful ancient, dynamic, definition defying, enigmatic land. The quiz will include sports, religious
& history rounds as well. No. of participants: A team of 4.

9. DOHA / CHAUPAYI RECITATION COMPETITION


Doha: is a form of 2 - 4 liner rythmic poetry. Doha culture was popularized by some of the popular bhakti saints
who preached in languages of commoners (like Awadhi & Brij) because the Vedas & other literatures of ancient
time being in sanskrit or prakrit weren't reaching commons (as some classes like Shudras were denied of
Sanskritic education). Many Hindi poets wrote epics in form of Dohas & Chaupayis (another form of poetry); best

11. JAM – A – MINUTE
Speaking from a piece of paper is as easy as ABC but speaking on any topic instantly is the sense of talent. To
show this taste of talent, we are here with JAM sessions. Grab this opportunity and bring out the best in you.

Participants will pick up a chit which will contain three diverse topics. Among the three topics, he/ she will
choose one topic. To collect food for thought/ ideas every participant will get two minutes. After that, speaker has
to speak continuously as long as his mind and tongue permits him to with as much fluency as she/ he can mutter.
Once a participant picks up a chit, he/ she will not be able to change it or talk to any member or use mobile
phones.
• Judging criteria: slutter, stumble, pause, slang, abbreviations, delayed start, choice of points, confidence,
pronunciation, grammar, choice of words, body language etc.

12. CHANNEL SURFING


Aren’t we capricious while watching the TV and keep switching between various channels? Channel surfing is a
fun event that requires an individual or a group to either imitate different channels or come up with something
humorous to represent a particular channel.
Meanwhile the moderator will keep shifting between channels in every few minutes or seconds. To add some
extra zing, sometimes moderator can rewind or fast forward a particular channel thereby forcing the participants
to adapt to these changes instantaneously and hilariously.
• The list of channels to be prepared (around 10) will be provided by the event managers before hand. Eg:
the moderator can switch between HBO, Nat Geo, MTV within a minute and the participants will have to
imitate any remarkable shows of these channels.
• Judging criteria: spontaneity, content, humor, audience response, co ordination and over all impact.

13. YOUNG SCIENTIST AND INNOVATION COMPETITION


This competition is for all the genius people and innovative young scientist of India, where you have an
opportunity to prepare a working model. The model can be based on anything from recycling / decomposition of
plastics... to pollution … to water harvesting or anything… Entire model is to be prepared on the spot.
• All the material is to be brought by the participants.
• The model should be working at the time of judgement.
Participants – team of 4-5 Time duration – 2 hours

14. NEWS REPORT PRESENTATION
If writing for columns in newspaper was your dream then here’s the moment to write up for the events and show
your report presentation skills inside them. In this segment of competition, participants have to become the
reporters of JP Inceptra. Participants will be given time to roam around campus and get an idea on which theme
they want to prepare reports and also click the picture of that event. Additional time will be provided to pen down
their respective reports.
This competition has two segments one : writing and other is presentation/ reading.

• Participants can choose any event or number of events on which they want to make the reports and take a
picture of the happening.
• The report should not exceed 1000 words. Report can be written before hand or can be written on spot.
• The report and the picture should be completely original and should not be copied.
• Each team can contain a maximum of 5 members.
• The participating team will have to roam around the campus and should take live interview of students
regarding the events they choose. These have to be recorded through mobile cameras only.
• Language :Hindi / English .
• A team is allowed to submit only one report.
• The reports will be judged on the effectiveness of the presentation, way of writing, body language,
pronunciation, interviews, pictures collected, effectiveness and over all impact.
• The teams will be given a time of 5+3 minutes to read their campus news.
• Judges’ decision will be final.

2. MOCKTAIL MAKING
Within this collection of non-alcoholic drinks, you will find a variety of fun, flavoring recipes that are fun to
explore. These mocktails (mock cocktails) are perfect for families, serving to your non-alcoholic party guests, and
for enjoying yourself when you want a great drink without the booze. In this segment, mocktails can be prepared
using fun, fresh recipes including homemade soda, a variety of fruit punch mixes, and delicious smoothies.

3. NON FIRE COOKING


Evenings are the most vulnerable time for all crunchy munchy snacks. It is important to have something that is
light as well as full of nutrition. So this is a segment of competition where all the students can prepare some
snacks ..but no fire is allowed… so it has to be non fire cooking.

4. ON SPOT PHOTOGRAPHY
This is to show photography skills. In this competition the participants are given freedom to explore the entire
campus with number of events going around and capture pictures of various moments.
Participants: Open to all students. No editing of pictures is allowed.

5. MAD AD FADS
“You can’t bore people into buying your product. You can only interest them into buying it..”—David Ogilvy.
Going all out and acting retarded has never been so rewarding! Here you score high points for whacky & out-of-
the-box ideas. They can be anything – Baba Ramdev doing a jingle to advertise body lotion or Manmohan Singh
smiling even during corruption. So if you have wit or a taste for smart humour, make sure you're there! We, the
brand rovers of JP help you to create your own ads for totally fictional top products. Only two objectives need to
be met: the message needs to be clear and effective and the audience entertained and enthralled.

• The product to be advertised will be given on the spot with a preparatory time of around 10 minutes.
• Basic props will be provided. (3 chairs and 1 table). Other props are allowed.
• Languages including Hindi, Punjabi and English can be used.
• Caution should be exercised in refraining from displaying obscenity, violence etc.
• Judging criteria: originality, humor, portrayal of brand image, and overall impact.

your quotient on filmdo…..in this competition .. ..
• The game will be divided into various rounds- like recognizing the celebs, name of their movies, their
personal life etc. .. Participants: Team of 3 per college.

7. DUMMY CHAT MARKET
Are you tired of the daily hassles and fast life of your city....just running around the clock… long hours of
meetings and computer … This competition is for all the street food lovers.. here the participants have to create a
street scenario …a dummy market with all sort of possible street food….here in JP itself.
The participants will be provided with an empty classroom to change it into a market. Everything can be done
including selecting a theme or area, adding decorations, local dresses, all sort of street food from gol guppa to
muradabadi dal.. from chowmein to momos etc… Hot plates can be used. All the materials to be used are to be
brought by the participants. Pre prepared charts etc are allowed.
Participants : not more than 12 Time to prepare : 2 and ½ hours

8. COSPLAY
This is an age old competition…. In this competition, all the participants have to dress like famous inventors,
scientists or world leaders… the one whose costume, attitude and words matches the most wins!!!! A fancy
dress competition…. in simple words
• This competition is open for all….. all you need to do is submit your names before hand.
• Maximum of one minute will be given on stage to present yourself including speaking.
