School Based ICT Literacy Training

TERMINAL REPORT

With the rise of global advancement everywhere, educators are expected

to be the first initiator on the usage of technologies. But how do teachers impart
the knowledge and the skills if they lack the basic skills in the area of computer?

Fortunately our Schoo Head, Josephine H. Salisid, initiated that the

teachers of Kauswagan National High School shall undergo 24 hour training. The
training was launched on February 21-22 2019. Through this training, teacher
were taught to use different MS Office such us MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS
Excel and MS Publisher which of much importance in performing their task as
managers of learning. Teachers completed the training for 24 hours divided into
12 hours per meeting. Mr. Julius Jr. A. Salas teaches the teacher of first day and
second session from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. the teacher were ask to make a portfolio
of their outputs before the completion of the training program.

Participants who were able to complete the course were given

certificates of completion signed by Mrs. Josephine H. Salisid the proponent of
the training program and School Head of the School, Mr. Julius Jr. A. Salas the
Science/ICT Coordinator respectively.

To sum it up, the training is indeed a success!
