Peer Feedback on Project

In 2-3 paragraphs describe the peer feedback you received during your in-class critique, or any
other additional peer feedback you received. In your response detail the positive, critical, or
otherwise feedback you received.
Upon reviewing the comments left by my peers that had edited and edited over my report,
I had learned that I made numerable amounts of grammatical errors as well as not fully
explaining my findings in the paragraphs. I also hadn’t stated my subject of interest, which
would’ve greatly impacted my grades, and I was lucky enough to solve the errors. My peer
editor, Lindsey, left great responses to my paragraph, especially highlighting to my attention
areas that needed more work of going in-depth not, which was the three areas that I had explored
and how they would either contribute positively or negatively to my subject of interest.
Some negatively comments were just as I had mentioned above, more work on my paper
and adding detailed explanations for every paragraph and fully answering the questions given to
me. However, she had also positively noted about how well I was able to describe my reaction
towards using each technology and how well receiving it had been for me to enter the ignite lab.
Other than that, I had not received any other feedback, as I had begun to redo and edit my report
as soon as she had finished editing my report.

Implementation of feedback:
In 1-2 paragraphs describe in detail your plan to revise your project based on the feedback you
received. Identify elements that you can modify, as well as any that are not reasonable given
time, expertise, and cost etc.
I plan to go over every paragraph and first find any grammatical errors and begin by
fixing those. I’ll also begin by trying to move some sentences or adding any more necessary
sentences to better aid in clarifying my point. Based off the feedback I received, I had better be
more better at explaining what I learned and how to better place those into a better sentence
structured format so that way it is not only in chronological order, but an order where my reader
can understand what point I am trying to argue. It’d be much more beneficial for me to edit areas
that I feel did not connect well with what argument I was trying to connect with what I learned
and with what I had experience by attending the Ignite lab.
3. Learning Reflection:
Looking back over your project and feedback, describe in 1-2 paragraphs what you have learned
about the process of revision and iteration. Based on your experiences describe how you might
approach this same project if you started again - what would you do differently, the same, etc.?
The process of properly revisioning is actually a long duration, however it is definitely
worth it as to gain higher chances of granted grades for my course. It was very helpful getting
feedback from peers, as I was able to see the errors in my paper and readily fix those as
according as what they believed to be a much more refined version of my paper that can be
polished and cleaned off. However, what I would do is to take my time going through the ignite
lab, making recordings of my real-time experience going through the technologies and including
them in my report. If I knew how to make or edit videos, I would’ve also tried to make a much
more refined or greater quality video to showcase my actual experience at the ignite lab and give
a more thorough review of what I had thought. Also, to make an even better presentation, rather
than merely just speaking candidly in the video, it would’ve been better to create a script to read
from instead.

Alternative Use / Future directions

In 1-2 paragraphs describe how the technology you focused on for your project might be used in
a way you had not initially considered? What are some real or hypothetical use cases of the
technology that we haven't considered?
The main technology I had focused on and was really excited for was the Oculus. The
oculus, a technology I had heard of before, from video games, but haven’t really used before,
was purely amazing. It was mind-blowing to actually use the resource, as at first, I was pretty
doubtful on how it would ever be able to serve its purpose in an educational classroom setting.
However, as soon as I explored the compatible apps and other technologies, it was eye-opening
to see just how much it can do. From being able to see the opposite ends of the world, to being
able to witness the anatomical structure broken down into microscopic layers was truly a sight to
see. With this technology, it is possible to scavenge the human body, mental and physically and
be able to witness anything, all the way experiencing it all through googles. Alas, there have
been real cases of using the oculus in perceptual psychology, whereas upon the user will be
placed in mind stimulating scenarios or go through therapy sessions. Perhaps one use of such
technology we haven’t really considered enough is using technology to improve the mental
mind, yet with the aid of technology, it can actually be achieved regardless the social stigma that
prolong uses of technology will damage ones mental capacity or emotional stability. That is,
however, to be researched much ore thoroughly.
