Society is split in half regardless of topic. Half will always say “yes”,
leaving the other half to oppose. There will never be a solution, but
why is this? There are a plethora of social issues in which affect
women on a daily basis, one of which being the dominance of
Chrisitianity in America.

This specific podcast will focus on radicalist beliefs in America and
how they affect the general population of women on a daily basis.

GENRE OF PODCAST
This podcast focuses primarily on society and culture based
discussions. The main topic surrounds the impact of religion on
society and how it impacts all female Americans on many platforms.

DESCRIPTION OF HOST
This podcast is co-hosted by Shannon Fitzgibbon and Jocelyn
Streeper. Both are prospective educators currently attending one of
select research post secondary institutions and are advocates for
equality among all people.

ESTIMATED LENGTH OF SHOW

The average length, outside of this pilot, would be roughly between
45 minutes and an hour. There is copious amounts of content to be
covered, however, we aim to leave our audience with their own
interpretations instead of forcing them to subscribe to our beliefs.
With this generous time range, we can easily cover all we want to
and still leave some room to continue the conversation.

PROPOSED FREQUENCY OF SHOW

We will be uploading our show every week due to limited time to
meet up to record. Once a week is also frequent enough to look
forward to and keep an audience interested.

PODCAST FORMAT STRUCTURE
We chose this format because it gives us a way to organize our
topics in order to smoothly transfer between ideas and create depth.

1. Intro music with greeting.

2. Begin talking about Christianity.
3. Transfer to talking about women in Christianity.
4. Read some anti-women things both men and women write.
5. Explore the idea that Christain men and women generalize
Christianity.
6. Talk about oppression from Christianity (sexism, sex education,
abortion, dress code etc.)
7. Wrap up/ preview of next show Christianity in schools.
8. Outro and some music.

SCRIPT VS OUTLINE
In order to provide the most raw form of our conjoined ideas, our
show is based entirely around an outline rather than a premeditated
script. This allows for true feelings and reactions to surface from
both hosts and future guests. By identifying several points for
conversation, the qualities in which all know and adore podcasts for
can surface naturally.

COVER IMAGE
As avid advocates for women and their equality, it was fitting that
we incorporate this into our cover. Our ideas generally deal with
society and culture on a global basis, so it was imperative to display
this for all to see.
