• Interviewed school food directors to create an overview of school district adherence to national school meal standards and  
coded district challenges and successes with menu planning 
• Conducted nutritional analysis of over 300 snack products served at schools to understand which foods would be affected by  
changes in food standards 
• Compiled report for LA County’s summer meal program detailing nutritional content of foods served 
• Designed fact sheets for sodium, whole grains, and added sugars in school foods to deliver information to various audiences

• Outreached to residents of Detroit, MI and conducted eligibility screening for the Step Forward Michigan program
