Invention Name:

Water Level Indicator with Alarm

Materials:

 BC547 Transistors
 220 OHM with collectors
 LED with connector
 Sensor wires
 9v Battery

Procedure:

Step 1: Attach the BC547 Transistors to the wood.

Step 2: Turn all the base and collectors of the transistors.

Step 3: connect 220 OHM with collectors.

Step 4: Connect LED with resistors.

Step 5: Connect buzzer with transistors.

Relevance of the Project :

Angelica and I, we really thought about this invention of ours.

The Water Level Indicator with Alarm, we chose this invention

because we believe that it is very relevant and useful especially with

the state we have right now. Floods are very common nowadays,

especially in our country the Philippines. We know that floods are very

common here on our country because of our unfixed drainage system

and let’s be honest the Natural Risk Reduction Management in our

country is not that strong to provide indicators and such. So by this,

we visualize this invention that will really help our countrymen during

flood calamities to help them be aware on how worse the flood is.

 Using a water level controller saves power. This is because

water levels are controlled automatically, which limits the

amount of electricity used.

 Since a water level controller conserves power, it saves money,

as well.

 Another big advantage is that these devices can work on their

own.

 Additionally, water usage can be maximized with a water level

controller.

 Addressing the durability problems found in earlier designs, the

solid-state electronics in the newer models help to eliminate

them.

 Proving to be less costly, over time, than the original float design

for the ‘toilet tank’. The solid-state electronics are designed to

minimize volt usage (less than 1 volt).

 These new solid-state electronics and integrated electronics

offer superior performance, hassle-free installation, and lower

cost to operate over time when compared to the lifespan of the

original design.

 Indicates water levels in any type of storage tank or body of

liquid

 Living in an age where we need to be more conscious of the

energy that we use, a water level controller is ideal at saving

power.

 A water level controller helps save money by limiting the waste

of water and electricity.
