Two Good Examples of Web Design

o Navigation (links)
 The website is very thorough and concise for
users to navigate. Each link for different
webpages allows users to find different resources
easily.
o Layout
 The website is very clear and concise with its’
message for users.
o Coherence
 The theme of the website is very consistent.
o Clarity
 The information posted is very clear for new and
old users alike. All information gives information
old and new that allows people to understand
what the website has available for use of new and
experienced users.
o Graphics
 The website includes graphics that are very
appropriate for the website and gives users a
glimpse into what the website offers.
o Functionally
 All the links take users to their appropriate
webpages and all images are visible for users to
view.

 The website is easy to navigate for new and
experience users. It allows users to view and find
information they need easily.
o Layout
 The layout looks like a webpage. It allows users
to understand more about the website on the home
page and has different links for other webpages
available as users continue looking through the
site.
o Coherence
 The theme of the website is consistent and
concise as I went through different webpages.
o Clarity
 The information on the website is easy to find
because there are different links available.
o Graphics
 The images are relevant to the overall theme of
website and can be seen in different features on
the webpages.
o Functionally
 All of the links on the website work and send
users to their respective webpages.

Two Poor Examples of Web Design

o Navigation
 The navigation is consistent and easy to use for all
users, but can hinder the user experience because
the website seems crowded.
o Layout
 The layout is not very visually pleasing to the eye.
The website looks very clustered, which can cause
users to not effectively see the website’s
information.
o Coherence
 The theme is consistent, but the color scheme is
not very pleasing to the eye.
o Clarity
 The information is clear and concise, but because
the information appears cluttered; it takes away
from what is presented to users.
o Graphics
 The graphics are appropriate for the articles that
are on the website.
o Functionally
 Majority of the website’s links works.

 The navigation hinders the user’s experience,
because there are too many different attributes
that distract users from being able to view the
website effectively.
o Layout
 The layout does not look like a standard webpage.
The webpage takes away from the user’s
experience.
o Coherence
 There is no consistent theme on this website.
o Clarity
 The information is presented, but there are so
many different links, images, etc., which appears
to obscure the information that is presented on the
website.
o Graphics
 The background graphic of the website does not
seem relevant to the website’s theme.
o Functionally
 Majority of the links will take users to the
appropriate webpages.
