For changing the code, down pushbutton connected to SPANEL_L7 board should
be pressed for 5 seconds. Here, up & down LEDs are on simultaneously and
SPANEL_L7 will exit "OUT OF SERVICE" mode. Now you can change
SPANEL_L7 code. By pushing SPANEL_L7 pushbutton, the code number will
increase. For saving the new code, pushbutton should be pushed for 5 seconds
once more, to light off up & down LEDs. Here, SPANEL_L7 will go to "OUT OF

boards code should be the same. OMEGA software prevents saving repetitive
code. In case the code is repetitive, SPANEL_L7 will be blinking and will not save
new code and stay in code changing mode. (Code changing mode is the mode in
which up & down LEDs are on, simultaneously)

"Inactive" & "Force" modes are generally used in duplex elevators. So, by offering
an example, these elevators setting status will be determined.
Suppose that a duplex elevator with 5 stops & car stop status in floors is as
follow:

If Parameter 10-SLOW DOWN FLAG = 02 (PROG), the slow down Flag Setting in
different floors and the selection of slow down flag in up or down direction is done
separately and through O9 – FLAG NUMBER SET.
UPFLG:02 DOWNFLG:02
FLOOR NUMBER=01 <
NOTE
The numerical adjustments in this parameter differ totally in meaning from the
adjustments made in SLOW DOWN FLAG Parameter.
Actually, the numbers here refer to the flag hierarchy from the destination floor.
01)-Slowing down is initiated on show of first flag placed before the destination floor
(as opposed to the previous technique where slowing down took place upon show of
second flag)
02)-Slowing down is initiated on show of second flag placed before the destination
floor (as opposed to the previous technique where slowing down took place upon
show of first flag)
03)- Slowing down is initiated on show of third flag placed before the destination
floor (as opposed to the previous technique where slowing down took place upon
show of second flag of the previous floor)

FLOOR 1
Regarding this parameter wide usage, we will offer an example to show the correct
setting.
Way of setting parameter O9-FLAG NUMBER SET for a 5 stops VVVF elevator
with dissimilar floors distance is as follow:
UPFLG:02 DOWNFLG:02
FLOOR 5 FLOOR NUMBER =05
210 CM
UPFLG:01 DOWNFLG:02
FLOOR 4 FLOOR NUMBER =04
520 CM
UPFLG:03 DOWNFLG:01
FLOOR 3
FLOOR NUMBER =03
120 CM
UPFLG:02 DOWNFLG:03
FLOOR 2
FLOOR NUMBER =02
200 CM
UPFLG:02 DOWNFLG:02
FLOOR 1 FLOOR NUMBER =01
Referring to the example above, the distance between floors "2" and "3"
is too short, so; slowing down with third flag is needed.
The distance between floors, "3" and "4" is too high, so; slowing down
with first flag is needed.
In other floors, slowing down is done with second flag because of the
normal distance between floors.
Setting UPFLG in first floor and DOWNFLG in last floor is not needed.
In case the car has two separate doors at some floors and it is necessary for the
elevator to respond to each door separately, then Parameter PRESELECTIVE
MODE should be set at 01.
NOTE
This only happens when, in a two-door cabin, on each floor and for each of the two
doors, two separate hall button exists and these buttons are wired correctly.

8- BASE FLOOR:
8- BASE FLOOR : 01
In this parameter, you can define the situation of the floors below base floor
against base floor.
For example, if there are two floors below base floor, the controller should
respond to the lowest floor first, then to the upper floors. So, 8-BASE
FLOOR=3.
Car Requests have higher priority.
It is required to put two flags between each two close floors. Changing fast &
slow contactors in 2-speed systems is concerned with this parameter.
In 2-speed 1m/s motors with a separated fast & slow winding, car speed is
reduced by activating slow winding.
If the distance between floors is 3m, choose 00: SCND.
For 3VF systems, choose 01: FRST
If the distance between different floors needs different techniques for
slowing down, then; 10-SLOW DOWN FLAG=02. Refer O9-FLAG NUMBER
SET menu for separated slowing down in different floors.

OMEGA64 Installation Guide
AFPELEVATOR___________________________________________________
In duplex mode, one of the two controllers is known as MASTER & the other
one is as SLAVE. When two elevators have the same condition for a
service, the MASTER one will respond. Therefore, the user will set MASTER
or SLAVE in this parameter.
Consider proper distance for CA1 & CAN limit switches to avoid undesired
safety chain interruption in initialize mode.
This parameter is used to monitor the flags and limit switches automatically.
Here, the car should be in the last floor (car has met CAN & LEVEL FLAG).
Car will start moving with fast speed to the lowest floor. By meeting each
slow down flag , " S " , each level flag , " L " , CA1 limit switch , " 1 " & CAN
limit switch , " N " is appeared .
Before doing system testing, control the distance between CA1&CAN to the
floor level. (In 3VF systems, the distance should be at least 180 Cm. In 2-
speed 1m/s motors without 3VF systems, CA1, CAN limit switches should
be put 100-120 Cm before first & last floor).
If TIME=01; then, the elevator will respond the services in the short possible
time. IF ENERGY = 00; then, the elevator will respond the services in a way
that less energy is used.
Maximum permitted time for the car door closing is adjustable in this
parameter. Exact setting of this parameter can prevent the undesired delay
of the door closing command.
23- DO TIME :
Maximum permitted time for the car door opening is adjustable in this
parameter. Exact setting of this parameter can prevent the undesired delay
of the door opening command.
If the time in parameter "23.DO TIME" is less than the time needed for the
complete opening of the door and there is service request, the door closing
command will be issued.
Therefore, the risk of strike between the door and the passengers is
possible; therefore, this parameter should be set according to the door real
opening time.
25- RELEVELING :
25- RELEVELING = 00
ACT = 01 INACT = 00
26- PASSWORD:
Parameter 26-PASSWORD, gives the ability to lock and change the set
parameters by entering a 4-Digit code and activating this code.
How to activate the "password" parameter:
The user-desired password is selected by entering into the parameter
26- PASSWORD and using a 4-digite number instead of (0000). You can
select optional number by using micro switches (K2, K3, K4). For example,
for selecting the optional number "1000", you should push K2 once, and
then K4 three times.
If the "password" parameter is active, you can only observe the parameters,
without any changes.

SPANEL-L7 introduction:
SPANEL-L7 makes serial connection between floor pushbutton and OMEGA via
RJ45 terminals in OMEGA64 and SPANEL-L7 board.
If SPANEL-L7 is disconnected, the error "SPANEL NOT CONNECTED" is shown
on OMEGA64 LCD.
SPANEL-L7 COMPONENTS:
2
SPANEL-L7 boards are connected with each other via 5 meters cable with CAT5 &
CAT6 standard. For SPANEL-L7 connection with OMEGA at the last floor, 8
meters cable is used.

NODE
JUMPER
SPANEL-L7
NODE jumper should be set, for fastening serial node end at the first floor. Here,
SPANEL-L7 screws, which are fixed to the back part of the panel, should be
released and NODE jumper should be set.
NOTE
OMEGA64 has the capability to run the elevator allegorically via K1, K2, K3, K4
micro switches. Here, by pushing K1, first floor pushbutton is pushed and by
pushing K2, K3, K4, 2nd,3rd & 4th floor pushbuttons are to be pushed.
OMEGA64-EXT:
OMEGA64 has the capability to support the elevators with 2 to 16 floors via
H1…H16 terminals in parallel mode & up to 32 floors as serial via SPANEL board
without using OMEGA64-EXT. However, for 16 to 32 floors as parallel, OMEGA-
EXT (extension board) is to be installed besides OMEGA & communicate with the
main board via MODBUS terminal.
OMEGA-EXT can communicate with OMEGA64 & other extension boards as serial
by using CAT5 cable (1m) via MODBUS TERMINAL.
