PRAYERS IN PAST AND PRESENT:

 -Las mujeres solían tener el cabello corto.
-Women used to have short hair.
 -Las mujeres tienen el cabello largo y bien cuidado.
-Women have long and well-groomed hair.

 -Las amas de casa lavaban a mano.
-The housewives washed by hand.
 -Las amas de casa ahora lavan en la lavadora.
-The housewives now wash in the washing machine.

 -Las mujeres no tenían derecho al voto.
-Women did not have the right to vote.
 -Las mujeres sufragan en las elecciones.
- Women pay for elections.

 -Gente llamando a casa desde una cabina telefónica.
-People calling home from a telephone booth.
 -Llamamos desde nuestros propios celulares
