Research Proposal – Instructions

Proposal (Written): 20%, Due in Week 13 (December 11th, 2019), submit a softcopy in OL (just the proposal
without the appendices) & a hardcopy in class (all inclusive).
Proposal (Presentation): 20%

General:
 Proposal length between 2,000 and 2,500 words excluding tables, figures, reference list & appendices
 Include Chapter/Section 1 (Intro), Chapter 2 (lit rev), and Chapter 3 (Methodology).
 Single spacing, font 12, Times New Roman.
 All margins at 2.5cm.
 All pages should be numbered except the first page.
 Use font 10 for text in Tables and Figures.
 Text should be justified both sides.
 Table and Figures should be placed near the relevant text & self-explanatory.
 Tables should only consist of 3 horizontal lines.
 Should be written in the form of a journal article.
 Written in English; should be proofread before submission.
 Plagiarised proposal will be given 0%.
 Citation and references to use the APA method.

 may refer to newspapers if the issue is triggered from the news
 non-academic magazines & Wikipedia not allowed
Appendices  Questionnaire – with cover letter
 Gantt chart
 Photocopies of journal articles referred to (title page only)
