AP State Re-Organisation – Looming Challenges
The Andhra Pradesh State re-organisation in June 2014, left numerous challenges
because of adoption of inconsistent and unscientific bifurcation criteria

Amidst all these challenges that confronted the state post state bifurcation, adopted an aggressive
strategy leaving behind the conventional business as usual approach.

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu, held discussions,
several brainstorming sessions with numerous experts and stakeholders in the field of
development at various forums.
The visionary in the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh envisioned a new
development growth model comprising sustained double digit economic growth strategy is
faster and more inclusive.
Broad welfare and development agenda of the State - creation of wealth, ensuring better
standards of living to people, reducing inequalities and enhancing the happiness index.

Ultimate objective - ensuring inclusive growth, higher levels of human development and a
happy society.
