1. Objective of the project

The objective of this project is to design and implement secure, reliable,

available wired and wireless local area network infrastructure which enables
the Defense Engineering Main Department for new building with the ultimate
goal of providing secure, effective and efficient infrastructure for :.
 Internet access

 Mailing exchange system

 Data and information exchanges between internal users

1.1. The main tasks of this project are to:

 Design and deploy secure wired and wireless LAN infrastructure

 Manage and Control Internet Access

 Install and configure distribution switches , and access switch

 Cabling of the LAN

1.2. Scope of the project

 The scope of this project includes:

 Prepare Detail Engineering Design of the LAN in Defense Engineering

Main Department

 Prepare bill of material for each service

 Prepare specification for each material

 Install up to 150 client wired and wireless network nodes and 50

extension phone and 20 directed phone nodes for new building ,which
means for Administration And Including ground floors, first floor
,second floors. .

 Deploy the designed network infrastructure (installation/placement,

testing and Approving of network equipment like , AP, switches,
racks, PBX programing and other relevant network accessories)

 Joining client computers to the domain.

 Penetration test and delivering the project
