ABSTARCT

The current website of ‘Shantilal Shah Engineering College’ and android application
‘Ask to SSEC’ both have independent database so for considering them we decided to
develop the project that provide the functionality which is link up databases using web
services. And we also develop some new module like, photo gallery, faculty detail
modification, easily student get notification from faculty.

This project also provided mock test service, mid semester paper generation module
and student can put their queries in query box. This project provide information about our
college, department, some important notices. In this project student and faculty can easy
communicate.

1. Introduction

1.1 Project summary and Introduction

The case study presented in the following pages is prepared by the students:
1.Navadiya Chandani, 2.vadhel Riddhi, 3.Boricha Archna. The students of Information
Technology engineering department, SSEC, Bhavnagar. We develop project on our shantilal
shah engineering college website. The students were guided by the following faculties of the
IT department Prof. A.D.meniya.

1.2 Aim of project

We analysed our current college website and college android mobile application
database aren’t same. So for that if departmental faculty want to upload something then
faculty necessary upload on both website and android application. We develop code for
communication between website and application.

1.3 Problem specification

In our existing system,we analysed our current college website and and android
application we realized that the database of both is not linked. Because of this if departmental
faculty want to upload something then they have to upload it on both website and application.
So for this problem we linked up the database of website and application.

1.4 Plane of work: We use Incremental model

We choose incremental model for development our software because we want to test our
project modules by module so we analyse new requirement and fault.

1.5 Material/Tools required

We referred www.w3schools.com for coding development and software engineering
book for requirement analysis and design planning.
