Junior High School Music Room Requisition Letter

These are the materials and construction that would really help and enhance the conduciveness of learning inside
the music room.

Construction

 General Cleaning – cleanliness is one that should be done regularly but it seems this one is the most
neglected part of the day. Spiderwebs are building up, the ceiling is constantly being opened because of
certain reason, dust all over the place.
 Repainting – it would be conducive if the learners would see repainted walls and ceilings
 White board – instead of the writing pattern of the white board, it would be better if it is designed for
music writing “multi-staff” Must be in even number at least 10 staff, see picture for reference

 Less wet acoustic and sound proof - the music room of the grade school seems to have too much echo,
better if the acoustics of the music rooms are a bit dry
 Cubbyholes – instead of a whole wall covered with cubbyholes, we would like to insist having Cabinets. This
is for the costumes and musical pieces of Cultural Art Program – Elizabeth Seton School Chorale. The space
will be utilized more effectively. Moreover, the other half of the cubbyhole must have at least bigger spaces
for bigger instruments like kulintang, keyboards, etc.
 Chairs – since the music room is smaller than a regular classroom that the school have, and because of the
instruments placed inside the music room, armchair is not the best chair to be used inside. We would like
to have stools with back rest for academic and choral singing use. 40 stools will be enough for both regular
class and chorale rehearsal
 Doorknob and locks – with these things in hand, we would like to request a more secured music room with
working doorknobs that is not easily get picked and extra locks for the safety of costumes, music pieces,
and instruments that is inside the music room
