I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Features: The Wind ‘N Go® Vers-A-Light is a
self-powered, compact 19 LED lantern and S.O.S.
beacon in a weatherproof housing. It features
16 bi-level white LEDs that each operate on high
and low illumination and 3 red LEDs that operate
at a steady glow or flash the S.O.S. signal. In
addition it has a detachable handle with hook,
three magnets on the back to secure to metal
objects, and an emergency cell phone charger.
Cell Phone Adapter Kit #7995 may be required
to match specific cell phone models. The Vers-
A-Light may be charged using the dynamo hand
crank or the included USB charging cable. It may
also be charge using the Power Adapter Kit #7991
(not included).
Benefits: The Vers-A-Light operates in many
different ways making it a very versatile light.
The hook is appropriate for hanging it on small
diameter objects like a tree branch or string line
for overhead lighting. The handle is detachable
to wrap around larger diameter objects. Hold it
by the handle like a flashlight, or attach it with
the magnets for another hands-free option. Each

of the 16 white LEDs provide high and low levels of
illumination so that the output quality of light on either
setting is very good. The 3 red LEDs function as an
eye-pleasing low level light or a flashing S.O.S. signal
in an emergency. The ability to charge a depleted
cell phone battery is a reassuring feature. As with
every Wind ‘N Go product, it is self-powered using
the dynamo hand crank so it is always ready for use.
In addition it may be fully charged using the included
USB adapter and a computer or other USB charging
device, or using the Power Adapter Kit.
Uses: Camping, backpacking, personal safety,
emergency preparedness, and automotive repairs.
Warnings: Read all instructions before operating.
Do not look directly at the light as it may cause injury.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not submerge
the unit in any liquid. Unit is weatherproof but not
waterproof. Administer close supervision when using
around children.
