Objectives of pricing
The objectives of pricing should consider:
While customer perceived value is figured using perceived costs, these costs don’t necessarily
mean money. Price is not the most important thing in determining a customer’s perceived value.
However, it does play a role. There are ways to increase a customer’s perceived value when
tackling a product’s price.
According to marketers:
“You need to choose numbers that will compel your audiences to buy.”
(b) Price protection systems can be developed to link the price on delivery to current costs,
(c) Emphasis can be shifted from sales volume to profit margin and cost reduction etc.
The automatic water level controller market can be categorized by technology, by application, and
by region. On the basis of technology, the market can be further categorized into contact and
contactless. Furthermore, on the basis of application, the market is segmented into domestic and
industrial. Geographically, the market can be segmented into North America, Latin America,
Europe, Asia Pacific, and Middle East & Africa (MEA).
The major players in the automatic water level controller market include RMG Automation,
Ajinkya Electronic Systems, Niagara Automation and Company, Sindhuria Electrical Industries,
and Attri Enterprises Ltd.

businesses, these players are expected to increasingly engage into strategic partnerships in the
years to come. The investment in research and development is projected to increase considerably
over the forthcoming years.
Automatic control is used in industries for regulating different processes without direct human
intervention. It is an application of control theory, in which a controller compares an actual value
of a process with a required set value, and produces the resulting error signal to modify some input
to the process. Technological advancements have made it possible to use computer-based systems
to control the hardware of systems in a flexible way. These computer-based control systems find
applications in water flow management to minimize water wastage caused due to water overflow.
The monitoring of water levels in a tank or a reservoir is of utmost importance in industries and
applications related to agriculture. Automatic water level controller manages the water pump
circuit in a tank or reservoir. The water level sensor consists of a metal plate, which is mounted on
the water tank or reservoir, with a sensor in the short for creating the top level and a detection
sensor for detecting the lower level. The ground lines are connected to the bottom of the tank or
reservoir. The automatic water level controller switches on the water pump circuit as and when the
water level in the tank or reservoir falls below a predetermined point and switches off the circuit
when the water level rises up to the predetermined point. Different technologies are employed in
the design and implementation of such controllers. Typically, such controllers employ a
microcontroller-based system to automate the process of water pumping in an overhead tank, and
display the water level on LCD screens. Continuous research has made it possible to use DC power
in place of AC power, thereby reducing the risk of electrocution.

Conventional or horizontal marketing channels are the more familiar, longstanding marketing
arrangement. A channel consists of manufacturer, distributor/wholesaler, and retailer. Each of
these components is self-contained and operates independently of the others. The participants
work under agreements for specific transactions, such as when the wholesaler delivers to the
retailer an order of items that were previously purchased from the manufacturer. Outside of these
case-by-case agreements or contracts, none of the members of the channel have control over any
other member.
In vertical marketing channels, all levels of the channel are controlled by one entity. This
happens when a corporation acquires or holds the key assets at all levels of the channel. It may
also be done through contractual agreement or cooperative structure. In the ideal situation, the
different companies that make up the channel cooperate and work together through planning for
the good of the channel as a whole.
The project was design to automatically control the pump which ensures constant reserve of
water in the reservoir. The scope of the design was keep concise and simple to in other not to
introduce unnecessary complexities and render it generally uncomfortable. The system does not
have attached complex peripheral device which though impossible for the detail printable
information has been excluded for reasons of affordability material of low range and less
accurate performances as opposed to a well built automatic water pump was used to achieve this
aim, the automatic water level controller detect and control the water in the tank.
