EN779:2002 and EN1822:2009

All filters marketed by AAF are tested in accordance with the latest European filtration standards. Coarse filters (G1-G4) and
Fine filters (F5-F9) are tested to the EN779:2002 standard. EPA (E10-E12), HEPA (H13-H14) and ULPA (U15-U17) filters are
tested to EN1822:2009. Please refer to the filter selection guide on page 4.

Eurovent
All F grade filters marketed by AAF within Europe are Eurovent certified. These include panel, pocket and compact filters in
the class range F5-F9 to EN779:2002. Within this brochure the Eurovent logo will indicate the products that are Eurovent
certified. AAF’s Eurovent Certification guarantees the customer that the air filters perform as specified. For more information

VD16022
All AAF filters are independently tested and approved to the hygienic requirements set by the German standard VD16022.
This guarantees that AAF filters have no negative effect on the hygienic condition of a ventilation system.

Biostatic Treated Filters

AAF biostatic treated filters inhibit the growth of fungi and bacteria on filter media. This prevents spores and microbes moving
downstream of the air filter and contributes to better indoor air quality.
