The United States of America is a basic tourist attraction. Seeing how

amazing it is from the outside looking in ,but the U.S.A isn't the county people

think it is. My question was why is it hard to be black in america? It's hard to be

black in america because of a plethora of things racism, police brutality, and

the KKK and that's only touching the surface.

Racism is the belief in the superiority of one race over another. Racism has

been a growing thing since the start of american slaverly. In the beginning

people only saw blacks as work labor and in the present day we are seen as

barcodes.

Police brutality is one of several forms of police misconduct which involves

undue violence by police members. Widespread police brutality exists in many

countries and territories, even those that prosecute it. Although illegal, it can be

performed under the color of law.

The Ku Klux Klan commonly called the KKK or the Klan, is an American

white supremacist hate group. The Klan has existed in three distinct eras at

different points in time during the history of the United States. Each has

advocated extremist reactionary positions such as white nationalism,

anti-immigration and especially in later iterations nordicism and anti-Catholicism.

Historically, the Klan used terrorism both physical assault and murder against

groups or individuals whom they opposed. All three movements have called for

the "purification" of American society and all are considered right-wing extremist

organizations. In each era, membership was secret and estimates of the total

were highly exaggerated by both friends and enemies.

Those of us alive today aren't directly responsible for the segregation but

we are all complicit in accepting it. Before you blame it on economics, keep in

mind that middle-class blacks also suffer from discrimination in housing, schools,

and jobs. “Stamped from the Beginning” was an unreservedly militant book that

received a surprisingly warm reception. Amid a series of police shootings of

African-Americans during President Obama’s second term, “Black lives matter”

became a rallying cry and then a movement, and helped push racism to the

front of the progressive conversation.

The Ku Klux Klan, commonly called the KKK or the Klan, is an American

white supremacist hate group. The Klan has existed in three distinct eras at

different points in time during the history of the United States. Founded in 1865,

the KKK extended into almost every southern state by 1870 and became a

vehicle for white southern resistance to the Republican Party’s

Reconstruction-era policies aimed at establishing political and economic

equality for blacks. Its members waged an underground campaign of

intimidation and violence directed at white and black Republican leaders.

Police brutality in the United States, the unwarranted or excessive and

often illegal use of force against civilians by U.S. police officers. Forms of police

brutality have ranged from assault and battery (e.g., beatings) to mayhem,

torture, and murder. Some broader definitions of police brutality also encompass

harassment (including false arrest), intimidation, and verbal abuse, among other

forms of mistreatment.

In conclusion, it's hard to be black in america because of a plethora of

things racism, police brutality, and the KKK and that's only touching the surface.

In the present day we are seen as barcodes. Widespread police brutality exists

in many countries and territories. All three movements have called for the

"purification" of American society and all are considered right-wing extremist

organizations. This project has shown me things and taught me about things I

didn’t know.
