diagnostic classification, initiated the development
of the “Philippine ICD-10 Modifications, 1st Edition”.
This handbook is not intended to replace the principal
ICD-10 international standards of WHO but
complement them through additional information for
their local adoption and usage. Modifications to some
categories, especially for several problematic diseases,
