Doors are normally 2.1m high and 900 mm wide. A front door can be wider at 1.1
more also.

Windows sizes range from 600mm in increments of 300mm up to 2.4m in width and
1.8m in height.

Yes you get bigger sizes but they are not standard.

The sizes of the windows are totally dependent upon the room, its location and the
purpose. Normal size for a window in

As a rule, standard entry door size is:

· height: 80" (6'8") 17

· width: 36" (30" & 32" are also available)

· thickness: 1.75"

Usually, the double door has the standard height - 80".

As a rule, there are no standard dimensions for width. More often, the double doors
width varies:

· 60" (2 x 30")

· 64" (2 x 32")

· 72" (2 x 36")

· 82" (2 x 41")

Interior doors have the following sizes:

· height: a minimum of 80"

· width: 32" (24", 28", 30" & 36" are also available)

· thickness: 1.5"-1.6"

36" is the minimum recommended door width to allow persons with disabilities' to
pass through.

There are many different standard door sizes available, and understanding the
measurements can often become confusing. So, a core selection of the most
common door sizes would be available in the market.

Standard door sizes would be available for both Internal Doors as well as External
Doors.

Internal Door Sizes:

The standard internal door sizes consist of the 24"x78", 27"x 78", 30"x 78", 28"x 78",
32"x 80", and 33"x 78". Standard door sizes are usually of 35mm thickness. Smaller
door sizes are also available within the pine door range which usually features a 3-
panel design, and the smaller sizes are 15"x78", 18"x 78", 21"x 78".

External Door Sizes:

The most common standard external door sizes are 30"x 78", 32"x 80", 33"x 78", 34"x
82", and 36"x 84". All external doors are usually available at 44mm- 54mm thickness.
However, they can be up to 70mm when someone is looking for the fully double
glazed folding patio door sets.

Sizes of Windows:

Windows come in various shapes and sizes, from round windows at the top
of a ceiling to small windows in bathrooms, to big windows. Manufacturers
usually start finding the window size by measuring the rough opening, i.e.
measure the top, middle, and bottom of the window vertically and note
each measurement. Then do the same horizontally.

Once the rough opening is measured, take 1/2 inch off of each
measurement. This lets for shining to be installed and then for the window
to be tested, or centered.

One of the most common types of windows is Double-hung windows.

These windows start at 24 and go up to 28, 32 and 40 inches. Their heights
vary from 36 to 72, with heights of 44, 52, 54 and 62. Remember to take 1/2
inch off of each measurement for the correct window size.
