Course contents (HEC) / DUET

• Introduction to work analysis and design, Methods engineering: study of the basic
work measurement techniques, applications and limitations of the stop-watch time
study, learning curve, Development and use of process flow charts, pre-determined
motion time studies (PMTS), micro motion analysis, Human factors underlying the
design of specific human-machine systems, Techniques of work optimization,
energy expenditure and bodily functions.

• Course gives fundamental concepts and techniques to analyze the
work and find ways to improve the methods used.

• Course proceedings will be according to Outcome Based Education (OBE)

Requirements to pass this subject:

In order to be eligible to sit in the final exam students:


 Students must have at least 75% attendance.
 Students must complete all pieces of assessments (Quizzes, assignments,
presentation, midterm, final term, etc.).
 Students must have at least 50% marks in each CLO.

 All students are advised to maintain course file, in order to keep all record
with them.
