2. To understand that the corresponding angles are equal by activity method.

4. To find out the sum of the three angles of a triangle.
5. To verify that the exterior angle of triangle is equal to the sum of interior opposite angles.
6. To verify that in a triangle, if two sides are equal, then the angles opposite to equal sides are also
equal.
7. To verify that a triangle can be drawn only if sum of the lengths of any two sides is greater than
the third side, using broom sticks.
8. To verify that in a right-angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the
squares of other two sides.
9. To determine the value of Pi ( π ) by activity method.
10. To derive the formula of area of a parallelogram.
