Embedded System Applications held during 25th to 29th July 2016 at Rajalakshmi Engineering
College and successfully completed the project titled AUTOMATIC AUTO COST with
certification.

 Completed mini project on “Online Course Registration System” using Android

Studio at Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology during September 2016.
APPS DEVELOPED:

 Completed developing app on “Smart App for AAI (Airport Authority of India)
Feedback” at Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology on January 2017 and received an
E-certificate from the Smart India Hackathon.

 Completed developing app called “Lock9View on “Dual Authentication Door

PAPER PUBLISHED:

 Published paper in IEEE titled on “Automatic Identification of Traffic Violation

and Theft Avoidance” on 30th March 2016 and presented the same research paper in a
conference conducted by Jeppiaar engineering college sponsored by ICONSTEM –
2016.
Description: This paper uses sophisticated technology to track the vehicles that violates the
traffic signal and rash driving and protects robberies. Each vehicle owner is given a unique
RFID tag number which. The RFID tag consists of details of owner. A camera with range
100m is coupled with the RFID reader used to capture the picture of violators vehicle. If the
person driving vehicle violates any of the traffic signal the image of the car is captured and the
RFID reader reads the tag containing details of the vehicle. The RFID reader activates as soon
as when the red signal appears. This information is intimated to the RTO office which
maintains the records of violators. This information is stored in a backend database. If the
warning message reaches a count of five then the license of the respective person will be
cancelled. The accelerator pedal position model is given to the microcontroller unit and then it
is fed to the Electronic Control Unit. If he/she tries to exceed the speed, the Electronic Control
Unit [ECU] is will not allow increasing the speed of the vehicle. Each vehicle are attached
with RFID sensor, this is to avoid theft of vehicles. An RFID sensor is attached inside the
vehicle. The tag must be read before opening the door and the car starts only when it reads the
RFID tag. As soon as the car starts, intimation is sent to the mobile unit of the owner.

“Engineering Digital era (EDGE)” during 17 th to 19th March 2016 at Rajalakshmi
Engineering College.

Intelligent Information Technology (NCDSIIT’17) held on March 2017.
