The determination of kinetic parameters of Rhodotorula Mucilaginosa and Rhodotorula Glutinis was
carried out by batch culture at the flask level in order to know the fermentative activity of the yeast
to be used, then the fermentation was carried out in the air-lift bioreactor of the Rhodotorula Glutinis
yeast Inoculated in full log phase for the production of carotenoids, it was grown in a culture
medium rich in glucose, yeast extract and mineral sales in different proteins. Growth kinetics was
evaluated by dry weight technique, centrifugation, spectrophotometry and the DNS method.
