My Biggest Success

Good night Mr. Arya Putra Kurniawan. Tonight i will tell you about my biggest
success. In my opinion there are some big succsess that i have experienced until
this time. First, when i accepted to medical faculty after i graduated from senior high
school. Honestly, i had never thought to enter medical faculty because i was
interested in police or military. It was my parent will to make their son become a
doctor, so finally i applied to the medical student selection. My parents always gave
advice and supports until i was sure to continued my study as a doctor. To make my
parents dreamcome true was not an easy. I had to study very hard at school and
take courses started from i was in eleventh grade until twelve grade. My school
started in the early morning, sometimes at 6 o’clock, then continued take courses
until late night, ata about 10 o4’clock. It was so tiring. I had applied for two different
medical faculty, but i were not accepted . so i tried again to take the last selection
program at Sebelas Maret University and finally i was accepted. I was very happy
and so were my parents. It was one of my big success that i could make my parents
happy.

The second one was when i finally graduated from medical faculty. It was a hard
thing to enter a medical faculty, but graduated from there was harder. There were
many of dificult subjects and so many foreign terms that i had never understand or
read before. I had to read many books, articles, and journals, then i practiced what i
learnt. Then i had to do many tests at the end each semester. That was the first
atep, took time about 3,5 years until i could graduated as Bachelor of medicine. It
was not finish. After that step, ihad to continue the clerkship phase. It was took time
almost for 2 years at RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. In the phase, i really practiced
my skill to the real patient. There were stations rotation, whether at polyclinic,
emergency room, or medical wards. I went to the Hospital every monday until
Saturday, and sometimes also at Sunday. When i get the night shift, i had to stay
from the morning the day before until the evening at the next day. This clerkship
phase was more tiring than the previours phase. After i finished all stations. I had to
do a final test so that i could get the doctor degree. The test was so difficult, but
Alhamdulillah i could pass it at my first chance. It was my second big success that
could make my parents happy.

The third success got was when i finally accepted as military doctor after applied for
3 times. I was failed for the first and second. Last year, i tried to apply for the third
time, and finally i accepted as military doctor, especially in air force unit that i want. It
was the other big success that could make my parents happy.
