INTRODUCTION OF THE GUEST SPEAKER

Our distinguished GUESTS, the Municipal Mayor of Pilar, Honorable

Eufracio P. Maratas, Jr., District Supervisor, Mrs. Dominga T. Cañete,
Principal ll, MR. Roque L. Borinaga, Faculty members, Parents,
Graduates, ladies and gentlemen, a blissful evening to all of us.

I am at a loss of words to describe to you the happy feelings I have

tonight especially looking at the faces of the parents that are pictured
the joys and satisfaction that at long last their children have reaped the
fruits of sacrifices after the six long years of struggle.

On this evening’s galore I am privileged to tackle a special task for

being chosen as the introductory speaker to introduce a VIP or Very
Important Person to share with us her inside thoughts on this
momentous occasion.

Now, may I commence with her brief of work experiences. In

October 1986 to December 1992 she was assigned as Social Forestry
Technician at DENR CENRO, Cebu City. In January 1993 to March 1996,
a Community Organizer at Central Visayas Water Sanitation Project
[AUS-AID Project] Cebu City. In February 1996 to December 2000
assigned as Executive Officer at Saint William Development Center Inc.
[Formerly affiliate with Christians Children’s Fund] Catmon, Cebu. In
January 2001 to May 2003 , a Field Technician at JICA Philippines, Cebu
Capitol. In June 2003 to September 2012, she was assigned as Child
Management Staff at Haven of Rest-1/UFNC-GDI/World Vision,
Poblacion, Liloan, Cebu. In October 2012 to June 2015, she worked as
Child Care Specialist at SOGOD INC/World Vision Development
Foundation, Poblacion, Sogod, Cebu. Then, in July 2015 to July 2016, she
was assigned Program Officer at World Vision Development Foundation
Inc., Arcada 5 Tipolo, Mandaue City. Finally, in January 2017 to present
she is assigned as the Program Development Officer ll/MAT Leader at
DSWD FO7 here in our hometown Pilar, Camotes, Cebu.
 With regards to her educational background, she graduated her
elementary education in 1978 at Basak Elementary School, Basak,
Catmon, Cebu as FIRST HONORS.

She pursued her secondary education at G. Jurado Foundation

School, Catmon Cebu graduated SALUTATORIAN in 1982.

She took her tertiary education at Cebu Normal School, Jones

Avenue, Cebu City taking up BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN
AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION, major in Agronomy and graduated CUM
LAUDE in 1986.

After graduated in college, she enrolled her Graduate Studies at

the University of Southern Philippines, Cebu City taking up Master in
Social Work.

At this juncture ladies and gentlemen, I am greatly privileged and

honored to introduce to you the renowned person I am referring to,
please help me welcome with warm round applause, our GUEST
SPEAKER of this 2nd GRADUATION CEREMONY, MS. CRESENTINNA
BONTIA COLONIA.
