Introduction:
This is an application of computerized fee management system. And
this is helpful for the office management staff. It contains three modules in the
system. They are office staff, Student and Parents.
They all can view and get the details of the balance sheet of the student. The staff
management can use the website or application to store the details of the students’
fees. And it is computerized to maintain the fees details.
In present synario, office staff is manually worked. The college uses manually
writing and maintaining the student balance details.
This is an application to solve these problems in computerized way. By
which the time is less consumed and less work paper is done. And any number of
students can be kept safe and secure. Student also can view their fees details. And
parents of the student will be informed and kept updated. This is a solution for the
parents system.
The portal is an online fee management system portal wherein student
can get admitted to college. Accountant can enter and retrieve any records of the
student without the need to do it manually or with help of the third person.
Number of shifts:
There is only one Shift. The timing is 8:45 am to 4:30 pm
Study Area:-
The study area which I have chosen is “Fees Management System”.
CURRENT SYSTEM
In the current system, college have to manually maintain information
regarding to fees deposited by the students.
College management systems are complex and time consuming to maintain
fees of students by that very difficult.
It is not properly capable to manage the student records with their fees
details at a single place.
Preparing receipts manually everyday needs additional clerical staff.
Re-entry of fees receipts in accounting software separately leads to double
manpower cost and time.
Disadvantages:-
Require much man power i.e. much efforts, much cost and hard
to operate and maintain.
Since, all the work is done in papers so it is very hard to locate a
particular student record when it is required.
It takes more time to maintain manually. And they have to enter
into the excel sheet and sometimes they forget to enter.
It takes more paper work.
Balance information is not properly maintained.
Every time when they want the list of the students those who
have not paid fees, then they need to generate it by excel sheet
and also it is required to compare the data with the ledgers
details.
Every month they need to visit the respective classes to announce
the balance details of the students.

FEASIBILITY STUDY
After doing the project student fees payment system, study and analyzing all
the existing or require functionalities of the system, the next task is to do the
feasibility study for the project.
ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY:
This is the very important to be aspect to be considered while developing
a project. We decided the based on minimum possible cost factor.
All hardware and software cost has to be borne by the organization.
Overall we have estimated that the benefits the organization is going
to receive from the proposed system will surly overcome the costs and
the later on running cost for system.
But the “FEES MANAGEMENT” project is really going to save the customer
resources. There by reducing the paper cost as well as the travelling expenses.
TECHNICAL FEASIBILI:
Technical feasibility is concerned with the availability and capability of
hardware, software and the people.
This includes the study of function, performance and constraints that may
affect the ability to achieve an acceptable system. For this feasibility study, we
studied complete functionality to be provided in the system, as described in the
system requirement specification (SRS), and checked if everything was possible
using different type of fronted and backend platforms.
OPERATIONAL FEASIBILITY:
A system can be technically feasible and still not be implementable. The
organization also has the will to implement it. Management must actively support
development of the system.
Fee management system can easily operated by the users. This user friendly
and each and process is work smoothly that user can operate easily.
ER-DIAGRAM
An ER-diagram is a data modelling technique that graphically illustrates an
information system entities and relationship between those entities. An ERD is a
conceptual and representational model of data used to represent the entity
framework infrastructure.
The elements of ER-Diagram are:
Entities
Relationship
Attributes
Entity: An entity may be an object with a physical existence, hours or employee or
it may be an object with a conceptual existence.
Relationship: A relationship is how the data is shared between entities there are
three types of relationship between entities.
i. One-to-one
ii. One-to-many
iii. Many-to-many
Attributes: Each entity has its attributes that is the particular properties that
describes it. There are five types of attributes associated with entity.
i. Composite verses simple (atomic) attribute.
ii. Single verses multi valued attribute.
iii. Null values.
iv. Complex attribute.
