 Let the class read the selection Kaing Festival. Ask the pupils to give
their reactions.

Group Work:
 Remind the pupils the things to remember during the group work.
Divide the class into 3 groups. Let them choose their leader. Each will be
given an issue to perform.
Group I- Create your own dance steps of the “Kaing Festival” song and
perform in the class.
Group II- Choose lines from the song of “Kaing Festival” and make a
rap, then perform it in the class.
Group III- Act out a scenario in the market during abundant harvest
and selling products in “Bagsakan”. Perform it in class.
 Ask pupils to give their reaction regarding the event they performed.

event or issue.

The basis of your reaction is your personal thinking, your experiences

Event/issue: Many people watched Kaing Festival celebration of the
Municipality of Leon. After the celebration, there were a lot of
garbage scattered on the event area.
