Statement of the Problem:


This study aims to explain the moderating effect of emotional quotient on the relationship of job satisfaction and
turnover intention among faculty members in the Diocese of Iba, Zambales as input for a faculty retention program.

More specifically, this study aims to answer the following questions:


1. What is the level of job satisfaction among faculty respondents?
2. What is the turnover intention among faculty respondents?
3. What is the emotional quotient among faculty respondents in terms of:
3.1. Recognizing emotions
3.2. Use of emotions
3.3. Regulating emotions
3.4. Recognizing others’ emotions
4. Is there a significant relationship between JS and TI?
5. Does EQ moderate the relationship between JS and TI?
6. How do faculty respondents describe the relationship among job satisfaction, turnover intention and emotional
quotient?
7. Based from the findings, what faculty retention program can be proposed?
