TITLE: STANDARD PRESERVATION AND PACKING PROCEDURES FOR PUMPS

1 PURPOSE:

1.1 This procedure describes the standard steps taken to protect pumps prior to shipment when no special

requirements are specified on the Goulds Order.

2 SCOPE:

Service: High Pressure Mill Water Pumps

2.1 The steps described in this procedure apply to SFO pump lines.

3 PROCEDURE
3.1 The preservation and packaging process takes place in several areas during the course of assembly and

preparation for shipment.

3.2 For specific preservation & packaging requirements see table 3.3.
