Letter of Recomendations

To whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter of recommendation for Ms. Stacey Brockhaus. Our
family met Ms. Brockhaus last year when my daughter was going into
PreK4 at Kenner Discovery – Discovery Education Center. She was one of
my daughter's special education teachers. Over that year, I witnessed how
much Ms. Brockhaus loves working with children, especially those with
special needs. She was very hands on with every child in that special
education classroom. She cared for and loved each child like they were
one of her grandchildren. My daughter bonded to her very quickly and
absolutely loved every minute she was with Ms. Brockhaus. Honestly, so
did I. I knew my special needs child was being taking care of throughout
the day.
Ms. Brockhaus even goes above and beyond her position as a special
education teacher. My daughter was having a hard time in her dance class
after school. Ms. Brockhaus offered to come to her dance school and go
into the dance class to try to help with the situation. She took her personal
time to help my child succeed in her dance class. She obviously did not
have to do this for my daughter, but that is how Ms. Brockhaus is. She
cares for these children in the classroom as well as out of the classroom.
When we were told that Ms. Brockhaus was not returning to Kenner
Discovery – Discovery Education Center the following year, our family
was heartbroken. She was just one of those special teachers that you wish
you child could have with them at all times. In my opinion, any school
would not only benefit with adding Ms. Brockhaus to their staff but those
special need students will be lucky to have such a caring and loving
teacher in their lives.
Sincerely,
Margaret C. Matherne
.
