Sports Day brings new energy in the hearts and minds of the children. This day is marked with
great joy and discovering the inner talent of a child in the field of sports. A sound mind resides
in a sound body. Sports and games help in large muscle co-ordination resulting in physical
fitness apart from inculcating sportsmanship, leadership, unity competitive spirit among the

A very Good morning to one and all present here, I am Mahnoor from class 9. We are all
gathered here today for the Annual Event that is going to fill every one of us with oodles of
‘Power’, ‘Self confidence’ and of course ‘Winning spirit’. We are soon going to see Adrenalines
rushing through our bodies, competitive spirit reaching to greater heights, Happy cheers, The
joys of winning and pride of giving our best. The event which I am talking about is one of our
Favourite ‘Annual sports Day’. Let’s hoot and show to the world that we are energetic students
of Kohinoor Grammar School and show our love towards our school.

That was amazing. I am Fareeha from class 10 and I welcome all here especially I want to say
thanks to our respected principal Mam Bushra and our headmistress Mam Hina Nauman for
giving us their precious time.
Sports are one of the most happening thrills of life. Sports are something that teaches a
human many qualities like dedication, and leadership, discipline etc. It’s a well known fact that
any form of Physical exercise is good not only for one’s body but their spirit as well. Playing a
sport is a winning combination both figuratively and literally and that’s why we lay special
focus on awakening the sports talent of the students and then display the same at our Annual
sports Day. Let’s give a formal start to our Sports day.

We once had a teacher. Who changed the world for the better; he was Mohammad peace be

follow his preachers and it as a routine work.

PT DRILL by MTB
Drill is marching, plain and simple. In ancient times, the most powerful, efficient, and
developed empires developed ways of moving troops from one place to another without them
getting mixed up with other troops. So they marched together from one place to another, also
known as drill.
Impressive displays put up by the uniformed students of Kohinoor Grammar School with
tumbles and synchronizing free hand claps will be inspiring you soon. Please give them a warm
welcome. These drills usually focus on skills needed to play different sporting activities such as
speed, balance and sharp reflexes.

PT Drill by Shadman Campus
Now this is the time for senior students of Shadman campus to come and present another
marvelous performance of PT Drill. The drumbeat rolls, the band strikes up and a high pitched
voice issues a command. The synchronized swing of arms and the sound of thudding feet stir
something within us. Besides being spectacular, there is something inexplicably inspiring about
a march past is the sense of dignity and pride the students bring to it.

It’s hard to put the joy of making music on the piano into words, but this difficulty hasn’t

Self-defense is a part of the law of nature. Self-defense is not only our right; it is our duty.
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art, characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks,
jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques. The emphasis on speed and agility is a
defining characteristic of taekwondo.
The more you sweat in practice, the less you bleed in war.

Belt Promotion (Yellow to Green)
What a marvelous act that was!
One of the greatest pleasures in life is doing what people say you cannot do, Stay strong and
prove them wrong.
Our sports club is always making efforts in promoting a healthy and positive physical and
mental growth of our students. Teaching the art of Taekwondo is one main activity which
consists of 7 ranks. These ranks are usually identified by belts of various colors.
To advance from one rank to the next, students typically complete promotion tests in which
they demonstrate their proficiency in the various aspects of the art before a panel of judges or
their teacher. Promotion tests may include such elements as the execution of patterns, which
combine various techniques in specific sequences; demonstrate the practical application and
control of techniques along with physical fitness. Now the students will be promoted to the
next grade by giving test and the judgment will be done by District General Secretary
Taekwondo Association Doctor Izhar ul Haq.

Let’s see who will be the front runners and who will drop the ball? Remember the ball is in
your court and you will get only three strikes or your will be out.
Do you also feel that I am talking sports way too much? I mean, Why not? After all it’s our
annual sports day and everything needs to be covered in sporty coat. Anyways! I don’t want
to take much of your time so that our future heroes can get to their business. Allow me to
declare this sport meet open. Put your hands together for Kohinoor Grammar School’s Annual

Ball Race Playgroup
Lets begin our show with the fun filled Ball race in which students of playgroup will run by
holding a big ball in their hands. They will run a race of 40 to 50 meters. The student who will
be reaching at the finish line will win the race. But before starting the race, let me tell you that
this race will be run in two groups. Let me invite Mam Imfasal to bring forward her group.
Students, make sure to wait for the whistle to blow before you start the race.
Now Mam Farhat please come forward and bring your group forward.

What a spectacular effort shown by the little zealous students of Play Group, they have
actually manifested that “Hard work is a two way street, you get back exactly what you put
in!”

Zigzag and Hurdle race Class Nursery
Our Next race is quite tough and tricky as the students of Grade Nursery will come and they
will run in a zigzag way which will be marked by Cones and there is a twist because there will
be hurdles too and they have to jump through those hurdles to reach the winning point. Same
format will be followed for this race also. There will be two groups first I would call the girls of
Grade nursery to run the race. Are you ready girls?

Hurdle + Front Crawling Race Class Prep
Another exciting game is going to be start in which the students of class prep will come and
face many hurdles, first they will go through a big stand and then they will jump through the
small stand and afterwards they will crawl on the ground balancing a ball on their belly to
reach the finish line. It would be really fun to see such an interesting race. Let’s call the girls

girls will be in the sack and being in the sack they have to run towards the finish line. Isn’t it

Father Race
One of the greatest titles in the world is parent, and one of the biggest blessings in the world is
to have parents to call mom and dad.
My dad is my best friend, my father, and my boss. When I do something that is exciting and he
likes it, it feels three times as good as you can imagine. He gave me the greatest gift anyone
could give another person, he believed in me. Now we are having a very challenging and funny
race. Dear fathers do you want to recall your childhood memories? Who can dare say that he
has not run rolling the tyres on roads with his hand? We need 10 volunteers for this race who
will come and roll the tyres on the track with their hands while running to the finish line. Lets
see whose father will win today’s race.

Mother Game
A mother's arms are made of tenderness and children sleep soundly in them. A Mother is
always the greatest teacher, a teacher of compassion, love and fearlessness. If love is sweet as
a flower, then my mother is that sweet flower of love. Now we will invite the mothers to come
and take part in the race which will be very interesting and exciting to watch. Ladies are
usually known for their discipline, arrangements and order. We have designed such a game for
the mothers in which there skill of management will be tested. The format is that all of you will
have bowls of colourful buttons and you have to separate the buttons of different colors and
arrange them separately in heaps on the table. Again we need 10 volunteers for this game.

present in front of them. The pair that will be finishing its beautification first will be

teams we have for this race. Each team has three members. The format is that One boy from
each team will be bursting the balloon lying down in his path by falling down on that and
quickly run towards the wickets. Then he will take 5 rounds of the wicket putting his head on
that. After completing the rounds, he will be coming back to next team member of his team
and clap at his hand to give him his turn. Now the next will come and perform the same. The
act will be done with the third one also in the same manner. The team that will take least time

we are proud kohinoorians who are blessed by the motivational, inspirational and scholastic
