Responsibilities’ as a Multidiscipline NDT Inspector (Offshore):

 familiar with Inspection of FPSO engine room,maindeck,top deck and turret piping inspections with Rope access.
 Inspection of received materials, preparing loading sequence of material, inspection of load out activities and
prepare final report for load out to client.
 Inspection of received materials from onshore to barge
 Inspection of welding materials and activities during pipe lying.
 Monitor and witness NDT and review reports.
 Corrosion survey /monitoring of all piping and vessels in the plant. To report extent and significance of equipment
corrosion /wastage and general deterioration.

 Assisting of Vendors to perform IRIS and Eddy Current inspections of exchangers.
 Checking of drawings for onsite accuracy.

 Carry out UT,ECT, MPI surveys of structural steelwork, risers, flare towers and OFFSHORE crane using ROPE ACCESS.
 Offshore & Onshore piping and static equipment, Flow lines and other pipelines at the oil production. Built new flow
line and cross country pipeline refinery and oil wells and gathering centers.
 Conduct on-stream and off stream inspection of Ultrasonic Testing, Thickness & corrosion monitoring, Magnetic
Particle Testing, Dye Penetrant Testing, Profile Radiography (DIGITAL and Conventional Radiography)
 Profile Radiography for corrosion survey.
 Coordinate with a team of Multi-disciplined NDT technician’s in their completion of specific inspection and testing
tasks and to monitor and perform periodic verification of test results.

Responsibilities’ as a QA/QC Inspector:

 Welding/Coating /Insulation inspection of stack(65MTRs)/Flare tip replacing(130MTRs) TOP side through ROPE
ACCESS.
 Check cleanness of oxygen service equipment’s and handling procedures (do’s and don’ts do’s).
 Preparation of Project documentation such as ITPs, Procedures, MS etc... Reviewing and commenting project
documents (such as MS, ITP, Procedure).
 Performing and checking of all QC inspections related with welding, mechanical works, piping, blasting, painting,
joint coating, and steel structure erection.

 Preparing as-built drawings (red marking) and mark required NDT locations for NDT crew.
 To inspect process pipe lines, Top side modules and Marine process piping, gas pipe lines, glass reinforced epoxy
(GRE) piping, valves, mega structure and heavy structural fabrications & coating inspection etc. NDT [RT, UT, MT, and
PT] hands on experience. Radiography film interpretation, cross checking & witnessing of weld joint by NDE.

 Responsible for carrying out mechanical clearance, conducting hydro and pneumatic tests, fulfilling commissioning
and pre-commissioning requirements for the project.
 Material control, traceability and documentation.
 Surveillance of contractor’s painting activities. Carryout ambient conditions like surface temp, relative humidity, dew
point etc. regularly and Assessment of surface condition prior to blasting cleaning. Post blast cleaning check like dust
level, profile, salt test prior to allowing paint application. Attend inspection on repaired coating using Tar-Urethane,
Polyurethane.
 Final inspection such as DFT measurements, Pinhole testing and visual check for runs, sag, and surface finishing on
various Coatings systems.
 Responsible for welding stage inspection, welders’ performance check and final coating Inspection.
